We're chilly at 34* this morning, but dry. (for now) and going to 55 and sunny later today. Only 2-1/2 weeks until spring officially starts. The long range forecast is that we will have a cooler, wetter spring, but a warmer and drier summer. We'll see if "they" are correct.
Yesterday we were busy hanging new light fixture and towel bars in BR. And I worked some on my little wall hanging. Then off to the vaccination event for my second shot. (Bill gets his tomorrow at a different place). It went so much more quickly than the first time. I never felt the needle or the medication going in. If I hadn't been watching I wouldn't have believed I'd had a shot! Had a sore arm and headache through the night but both are better now. I hope that's all I get.
Bill is having dental procedure today. He has a cavity under a gold crown. He's not looking forward to this. I promised him I'd make baked potato soup for supper. I make soups all the time but I've never made potato, though I have a good recipe. And it's one of my favorite soups! Bad me.
BECCA - so sorry you had such a bad reaction to your shot. I'm guessing you better not get the second one. What a beautiful observation you had about Rosebud's DWR quilt. I was impressed and thought her quilt so pretty, but it didn't click with me that all the rings were like gold wedding bands. Duh!!
IRiSH - Glad you got your cookies and a short visit with your old neighbors. I'm bummed that you haven't gotten The Call for a shot yet. Maybe now that J&J's vaccine is out there you'll be hearing soon. I believe Walgreens and Rite-Aids will be giving out shots soon, as will Safeway. If you have any of those stores in your area, you might start calling them and get on even more lists. My living room and hallway are a medium sage so the transition into the bathroom, a very pale sage, will work well. Much better than our old color - bright turquoise! That color, my favorite, never worked in the bathroom. But I was too lazy to paint over it. Bill must have disliked it, too, but never said, because when I suggested we re-do the bathroom back in January, he jumped on board so fast he almost knocked me off!
JANA - you are right about the side effects from the shot - it means your body had built up antibodies to the virus and is fighting it. So, in this case, I guess bad news is good news.

TINA - you are ALWAYS busy! Haven't you noticed??

Well, I already gave a spoiler alert about our supper so no surprises here - baked potato soup with bacon. And I might make some baking powder biscuits to go with. I have Chickie's recipe and they are really good. Not as good as hers, but I keep trying!
Hoping we all have a tasty supper tonite, whether it's cold cereal, soup, or filet mignon!
