Did you catch my note yesterday about Becca? She has been very sick, in the hospital for a week. Her BP is sky high and her sodium and potassium are way low. That's all CA told me. So Becca needs prayers and if you'd like to send her a card and need her address, let me know by PM, text, or e-mail.
Yesterday went well - We submitted our petition to renew our anti-harassment order and were given a Sept 23rd Zoom hearing date. So we're able to work around our Yellowstone trip (Sept 3-17). And no, the order goes from year to year - can't be made permanent. Don't ask me why.
Today I have my annual physical first thing, then a visit with a good friend I haven't seen since Feb. LOTS of laundry to deal - at least 4 large loads. Tea Party quilt is still waiting on a binding plus four tops are expecting backings to be pieced some day soon. So no lack of things to do around here.
JANA - sounds like fun to be able to cook with wholesome mixes from a trustworthy place right in your own back yard! Maybe a good Christmas gift for Kate and Aaron (besides pot holders!) would be a box with a selection of mixes in it - running heavy to brownies!

TINA - Once you get in cleaning mode, it's hard to turn it off until it's done. Hope the flurry is almost over! Are your temps coming down at all?
VELDA - I use my crockpot a lot. I almost enjoy cooking early in the day, but by suppertime, my energy tank is on empty. Nice to have supper ready and the kitchen still cool. I have a 1-1/2 qt, 3 qt, and 6 qt. Also a 5 qt in the fiver. The two smaller ones I bought in thrift shops and they work great! I've experimented with a lot of different dishes in them - mac & cheese, meatloaf, turkey, roasts, etc. All work great! I place meats on top of thick slices of onion and sometimes slide halved potatoes in next to them.
Our chicken parm last night was delish, but no leftovers so I think we're going to 77* today and it will be a great grilling evening. We'll share a steak and oven fries and a salad.
What sounds delish to you for tonite?
