Boy, did MY yesterday ever take a left turn at Albuquerque (as Bugs Bunny would say). I ended up deep cleaning my living/dining/kitchen/bath. I gave the quilting room a 'lick and a promise', and vac'd the traffic area of my sewing room and Bill's computer room. I guess today I'll be doing the downstairs - family room and our bedroom. We made appt to have our upstairs carpets cleaned next Tuesday so I was kind of doing the pre-cleaning. I hope I have a little quality time in my sewing room, too.
BECCA - did you figure out that pink wild flower? The wildflowers here have been outstanding this year! Every color you can imagine! Lupine, daisies, Indian paintbrush, wild roses and sweet peas, buttercups, queen anne's lace, everlasting flower, and several I couldn't name. I always think of you when I see any flower.
CHICKIE - Bill uploaded our photos to Costco and we picked them up a few days later. They usually do them in an hour, but we had almost 5 yrs worth of pix so we gave them extra time. I usually don't do deep cleaning more than 3 or 4 times a year, and then only if I have a good reason - carpet cleaners, my sister's visit in Sept, etc. Actually, when my sis visits, if her hubby comes, too, then Bill gets into the act and we clean the garage and shop as well. My DBIL has two garages and you could eat off the floors in both of them! lol! So I try to have them visit at least once a year or else our shop would NEVER be cleaned! lol! Your pickles sound delicious! Sweet 'n' Sour? Sweet? Dill?
LORI - sounds like you found the ideal climate! Have you been to Julian? There is a county campground close to Eleanor's log home that we stayed at about 8 yrs ago just west of Julian. Pretty place with lots of wild turkeys. Also, in 2002 we worked in firecamps (did firefighters laundry) and were in Julian for 3 weeks for the Pine Fire. It was 108* - no A/C. Loved the job but I was miserable with the heat. You may have to build a trellis . . .
Tonite - no cooking! Yay for me! We are invited to a small outdoor outdoor happy hour at the home of one of Bill's friends from his exercise class at the "Y". They do it on Zoom now (a "Zoom-ba" class!

What's for supper at your house?
