Re: Wednesday June 10 Supper Club
Good afternoon!
Becca - oh what a wonderful time that was to get your hands on those precious miracles! Christmas indeed!
Been fussy around here, not getting much done. I did order that comforter set for the twin bed - it looks like a Lone Star quilt pattern in reds and golds. I think it will be perfect. Well, anything could go in this room, as the walls are just painted white - so I can now match paint to the spread when it gets here in a week or so.
Still bland foods around here - running out of ideas - so Banned noodle cassarole will work and I can then have leftovers for tomorrow's meal!
Ethan came over yesterday with a request for cookies. Sarah was trying to work - the rain messed up all her good planning as they couldn't cut the sod, too wet. So she sent Ethan here and we made brownie cookies - half with mini M&M's and the other half with pecans. He was delighted to get a batch of cookies so quick! After that I put him to work in helping packing away to store the crib and the high chair. Lila is too big and climbs out of the crib, so it is can be stored for now. This crib started out here as one for Ethan, then progressed down through the next five grands. Only a few teeth marks - really, not many! I now have room for the twin bed to go in that room. It was Aaron's, when he was little. He has beds for his girls, so I will use this one here. It is a beautiful, expensive mahogony head and footboard. I bought it many years ago at a consignment shop in California - there were two - should have bought them both! Oh well......
So that is about my day here - bright and sunny and warming back up.
Hugs,
Jana
