Poor Irish. She is home, crying in her Terrible Towel. Her team lost yesterday, and just by two points.

This morning, after my walk, we're off to tour two adult care homes within 2 miles of our house for Ernie. A 3rd one is in Port Orchard, 20 miles north, but if these two look good, we won't even check out the third one. Hopefully we can get him moved tomorrow, wednesday at the latest. After the game yesterday we went and bought him some clothes.
We also stopped at Michael's and picked up a few items to use in making his fidget quilt. I have it almost half finished. I'm having great fun and this might be a good thing for him to keep his hands occupied. They are moving all the time and now there's nothing but his hospital gown to play with so it often goes on the floor! So this afternoon, I hope to get this finished. I started with a charm pack and am putting something to fidget with on each square - 5x4 squares, I think. My favorite block is square alphabet beads strung on a cord across the square. The beads spell his name.
JANA - that is one huge sod company! Is Sara happy with the change? Every year I tear out my day lillies because I get so few blooms. and every year even more come back! They are kind of like The Blob from that old Sci Fi movie. The bed just keeps growing and growing!
TINA - so happy you got rain! and supper! and chilies! Did you buy them already roasted this year? Not roast them yourself? How many packages did you get?
MARY ROSE - I hope you found some supper last night! We ended up having a big lunch so we just grilled cheese sandwiches. I ate a cucumber with mine and Bill had chips and dip.
Tonite will probably by the pasta we never had last night. And salad. I still have the sauce sitting on the counter, ready and waiting for us. And no, it's not homemade, but when I'm done with it, it will taste like it!

What's your supper story going to be?
