Supper Club. March 23
Good morning, everyone!
Before I forget, I posted a fun picture in PHOTOS. Check it out. It should make you laugh. It is my Autumn holding a kangaroo.
I am on my phone this morning. My computer is acting haywire. Like me, It’s getting old and I fear it’s days are numbered. Yesterday I worked all day on my Alaskan quilt. I have seven blocks fused now and seven to go. Most of my tracing is done and three more blocks are fused to fabric and cut out. I hope to have those all fused together today. We are going to my daughters for dinner at 4 PM so I will need to knock off work early.
Tina, what is an egg roll bowl?
Lori, tuna for me??? Gaackk!!! You are kind of new to supper club. Like fight club, we have rules. Rule number one is no fish! Being the self-proclaimed queen of supper club and hating fish, I made this proclamation years ago. If you must have something from the sea you refer to it as “Mac and cheese”. You get a special dispensation for your birthday and one other day of your choice in the year. Otherwise, please refer to rule number one! This is a good reminder for our old-timers as it has not escaped my notice that a few of them have been getting a little lax .
Jana, speaking of getting a little lax, that was a double batch of white CORN chowder you took to your relief Society banquet last night, wasn’t it. And yes, Bill got right on the hot water detail. I didn’t fancy having to steal water from Vicki‘s hose and Heat it on the stove to take a bath! LOL !
Becca, your birthday was yesterday but I am thinking your big party is today, right? I hope you have a rockin’ good time and that CA is up to enjoying the party, too.
We are going to Lara‘s for supper tonight. I have no idea what supper is going to be probably chicken of some sort. Lara is a vegetarian but she will cook chicken for company. I’m not sure how she cooks for her DH. She was a little bummed when Alec graduated from culinary school and finally moved out last year. She lost her cook!
Time for another cup of coffee. Y’all have a great weekend!

Good morning!
Happy Birthday Mary! Enjoy your special day! Love the picture of Autumn and the roo!
Not much here. I get to make a quilt for a new baby boy, a friend of mine in the Ward is expecting. She has a little 2 year old girl, which I play with during church, she is my little buddy. So I need to find a cute pattern and blue fabrics.
I kept out some soup for Michael's dinner last night, and there were so many, that I brought home a bunch of mine, so packaged it ip for future meals.
Stu stopped over to talk to Grandpa about his car. He is offically dating Kaylee, so we will see where this leads. He and Kaylee work together. Kaylee has also served a mission for the church. In fact, her mission was very near our house in Concord. She is very nice and very short! Maybe 5'1"! Stu is close to 6'2! That is all I need, another K sounding name! I have Crenda, Kate, Kari, and Karlie! LOL!
Dinner - clean out the frig day, maybe pizza, we eill see.
Enjoy!
Jana

Happy, Happy Birthday, Mary from a very sunny (but chilly), SW. Pa....
I knew you were going to look at water heaters but missed if you had gotten one...Sure hope it's not considered a birthday gift1 But, once again, I had visions of Bill heating the bath water over the camp fire.....Enjoy you day and enjoy your dinner....
BUT, we have big news on your birthday...Just for you, 1 of the eggs is in the process of hatching in our local nest...Normally, the 1st one hatched is a female so this will be our little "Mary"....
Not going to be able to sit and chat...I'm in the middle of tearing up the carpet, pulling staples out of the padding and trying to get all the nails out of those strips along the walls...I may never walk upright again....
Yesterday was a fun day with my sister...We ended up just going to Kohl's and saving big time money and then went to lunch...Just a fun, fun day...Of course, I was so excited, got a new pair of jeans, size 6 but that was before lunch so might need to go back and exchange, lol....
For my dinner, I need to finish up that tortellini that I was going to have last night...Tomorrow, on to new food, I hope.....
You all have a great day.....
Happy eating...............

Maryz, a big happy birthday to you. Hope there is cake in your future. Sorry about the T*** word. I didn't know that rule. I'll try and follow the rules from here on out.
I started squaring up my bowtie blocks last night. I will finish that up and maybe put the lotto blocks together from last month. Sue sent me her winning. I also need to make a back for the January lotto quilt. We'll see just how much I can finish in one day.
For dinner, I'm thinking about steaks and baked potatoes, with a veggie of some kind. I made fresh green beans last night, and they were delicious.
Have a lovely day. Lori

Change of plans, I had homemade banana bread and tea. Maybe some ice cream for dessert later.
