Yesterday was nice. Nothing wrong with our brakes - No Charge. Breakfast with Albert - priceless! But he's a talker! So no worries about conversation starters when visiting with him! lol! then on the way home we ran 3 quick errands. Bill tried TWICE to get me to go back to Trains - my fave LQS that's closing in June. But honestly, I couldn't think of a thing that I needed. But I will probably make one more swing through the store - maybe in April. It's hard to resist quilt shop quality fabric at $6/yd.
When we got back from Tacoma I cleaned the dining room and hand washed/dried another 24 wine glasses - all souvenir glasses from wineries. They line my high-up window sills in the dining room and when the sunlight shines through they sparkle - but only if they aren't dusty! And now they aren't.
Today I want to finish polishing the wood furniture, vac under love seats, and clean bathroom, entryway, and hallway picture frames. There's also some sewing to be done, hamburger from Costco to be repackaged for freezer, and 2 loads of laundry. It sounds like a lot in writing, but It really isn't. Trust me. It should all take me no more than the morning.
TINA - the flu at your house seems to have been a bad one. Your dad is wise to have stayed away! It would be even worse for him. Did he cook for himself while on his own? After my mom died, my dad seemed to really enjoy stretching his wings in the kitchen. He loved cooking with sausage, jicama, and rutabaga. And he told me about every meal he made! lol!
JANA - congratulations go to your Sarah! What a coups to have all tickets to her concerts sold out so quickly! And yes, I admit, most of those sparkly glasses will be used tomorrow with a houseful of guests! Then I'll have to wash them all over again!
CHICKIE - oh, believe me, I didn't get the cleaning gene either! Just like you said - the occasional bee in my bonnet. And I try to use an event like company coming to spur me on. This will be the last of it until next year, probably! lol!
BECCA - the big maple tree leaning over our house has limbs as big around as my waist. So there would be no driving around them either, if they were to fall. Of course, our house would break their fall . . .

Tonite will be pizza. I want to use up the last of the pizza sauce and the pepperoni. I also have green onions, sliced olives, and maybe a bit of green pepper. I want to make it a little different from the pizza I made last week.
What's the story at your house?
