Supper club, Thursday, November 8
Good morning,
I read all your posts yesterday but we are busy packing up to hit the road again. I have to shower, then pack up the trailer after sitting still for five days And spreading out. Then meeting my sisters for breakfast before we Hit the road. We had hoped to go east to Missouri star quilt company. But the route from here to there is snowy today. So we are being prudent and saving that for another year.
Irish, that would be scary, Someone entering your house.
Chickie, Hiw nice to have a day to yourself! What’s the plan?
Jana, I would love to see those little girls with their Christmas finery. I see the dresses at Costco and I wish I had someone to buy them for What do the little boys wear?
Pam, I see the cauliflower rice at Cosco. Youre giving me some ideas of what to do with it
Becca, glad your neighborhood is settling down. Scary things. We keep our doors locked even when we are home What’s the headcount for Thanksgiving up to?
Tinal, how was the birthday party last night ?
Still posting from my phone and will be until settled in Texas. It’s labor-intensive with either one finger typing or trying to correct AutoCorrect’s “corrections”. So trying to keep my posts short.
Dinner at my younger sisters last night was awesome. Chicken Alfredo. And she gave us enough to have tonight for supper. She even gave us a salad. So no cooking for me tonight at our campground

Good morning! The bottom fell out of the thermometer over night, and we have very cold liquid sunshine drizzling down. It’s so depressing. I hate cold. I hate wet. I despise cold and wet. I want my SUN!!! Wake me in April or May!!! I’m thinking I might load up the Hooligans for a road trip to Edna and the quilt shop and do some retail therapy. I get a birthday discount, so saving money is a good thing, right???
Irish—Wow, you really kept your cool! I guess your first clue was hearing someone calling for Baby Girl, but still… Yes, we can do without those aerobic moments!!! Holy Cow!!! A $100,000 Jeep!!! Guess I’ll keep driving my almost 20-year-old Millie the Millennium truck! Have a fun time with your sis and/or the girls! Quiet and boring is a good thing!!!
Becca—how nice to have someone come and do the leaves! Where I used to live, they were a never-ending job. The oaks shed their leaves at different times—most when the new leaf buds pushed the old leaves off.
Jana—congrats on finding all the little dresses! Know you will have adorable little models for the season! Love those discounts!!!
Pam—my mouth is watering! How do you make your apple coleslaw?
Mary—I got a couple of Leah’s Star blocks made yesterday, but I’m not sure I’m going to send them for Lotto. They are a smidge on the small side, and I hate ripping! They may become table toppers some day or maybe bags. I have two more to make. The hooligans and I walked to see Ava, and I also got in some reading. I saw the weather forecast for your trip east, and it definitely was prudent to postpone. Be safe traveling today! Hope you don’t run into any rogue storms! Your leftovers will be more flavorful tonight! YUM!
Dinner tonight… I’ve got to come up with something. Maybe I’ll make some rice and do pork fried rice. DH should like that!
Bon appétit!

Good morning from cold and semi sunny, SW. Pa....A good day to stay bundles up but still enjoy what sun we have......
Mary, I was just watching a video from Missouri star, one on using the scalloped edge ruler...Just another thing to add to the "list"....I know you've told us, but when you expect to get to Texas? Last night's and tonight's dinner really sounds good, especially is you don't have to cook.....
Chickie, it is a good thing to have a day, but that's what most of my days are, lol...But, I find, everything does eventually get done...There have been times when I might be doing laundry at 8:30 at night but so what...Enjoy your day, how ever you spend it.....
And once again, I'm running...Today I'm meeting 2 of the other "Golden Girls" for lunch and then really do have to stop at Aldi...I did try to talk my sister in joining us but she's picking up a new table and will be driving the truck...It's her late DH's truck and it is very big and right now, she wants to sell it and sure doesn't want to take a chance in getting any dings..
Did have another picture and Kathy, Cari and Lena were at Kohl's...A gal can't start to young to enjoy a shopping trip.....
Other than that, nothing on my schedule and that probably includes cooking....I'm sure my dinner will be half of what I have for lunch.....
You all have a super day......
Happy eating.............

Hello everyone, cloudy & drizzle.Cold temps are on the way.Dumped some of my hanging baskets in woods bec of cold coming. They last a long time on our porch but I thought better nowthan after the frost gets them.
Maryz You are wise not going in direction of snow.Best to miss it.DSs was nice to provide you with meals.
We are up to 10 adults & 11 children if everyone stays well.Sure hope so.I have decided it would be too hard On CA to try to go.I had hoped but don’t think it wise.
Jana Ilove Little girls dresses. They have the cutest children’s clothes.Know they will be dolls.Discounts are great.
Irish I told DH about your visitor.Guess hearing baby girl would be comforting.
Pam the apple coleslaw sounds yummy.Sure I would love the rice too as We Both Love cauliflower.
I have really been cleaning this morning.Deep cleaning on the bathrooms.Even did the drains ,& faucets .Took the gizmo out & cleaned it.Got that ,Floors & dusting completed.
Still have microwave to go.Food popped out in it.A Kitchen is always in need of cleaning if you cookin it.Wish I could retire mine.lol
We have some pulled chicken for sandwiches. Will add fries for CA & salad for me. Becca
Chickie If I had your truck I would hang on tight. Its a gem.And the Hooligans ball have their seats worked out.lol Sure your table runner will be pretty like all your creations.
It’s the same here with leaves. We have a lot of oaks too.We used to have a guy come & get them all up at end of season but he doesn’t do it anymore.

Chickie, I just use apple cider vinegar and salt on my coleslaw, now. No mayo. Mary, have lots of fun!
Tonight is a little baked beans, half a baked potato with feta and cheddar cheese, baby carrots, baby tomatoes, and a choice cut of meat with mixed olives and olive oil.

Hi all
We had another busy day here, seems like I'm the busiest when I didn't sleep the night before, crazy. We had an appointment to go over our personal insurance and came out of that with a couple discounts so next month we'll be $24 less a month going out for that.
Dad came over early for Frankie to work on his truck. Frankie got it fixed for him
Dad was happy. Then we just had sandwiches for supper.
The birthdays were fun
We all went out to eat, Easton's request was supper at Denny's and he wanted steak, he got a little sirloin and ate it all! He was so happy! Holly ate breakfast which is her favorite meal to eat anytime and she was happy too! I have to tell you all a story that just really hurt my heart.....we were all sitting together, talking and laughing and having a good time and a mom and 3 boys sat next to us. There was a little boy maybe 7 and he couldn't take his eyes off of Easton. I noticed the little boy's mom and 2 brothers all had cell phones and totally ignored him. I think he was in awe of all of us not having our eyes glued to a cell phone! We were all paying attention to all 3 of our kids and I even told him hi and smiled at him and he gave me a smile back! It was just so sad to me to think that's how this little boy's life is. When Easton said he had to go potty the little boy got up to go with him, his 1 brother was made to go with him and of course Adam took Easton but I think he just wanted to go cause Easton was. Easton asked me how come the little boy kept looking at him and I told him because he liked that none of us were on our cells phones and we where all talking and having fun. I just wanted to share.
Mary, is coming for a short visit Sunday!
I'm looking forward to seeing her and Bill again!
Tomorrow would've been my parents anniversary and Sunday Mom's birthday....more firsts.....
Oh Frankie got a job at a welding and fabrication place here in town, he starts next week. Our health insurance went up again and we had to figure something out to help until he can draw his SS in 13 months. He'll be working for a friend of his.
