Jana, tacos are an awesome way to feed a group. And your pies sound wonderful.
I don't know for sure what's for supper. I am thinking about cooking up zucchini for a base instead of rice, and then making a saucy curried chicken for on it. I may sweat some onions and celery for the base of the sauce, add in mushrooms and chicken and cumin and curry powder. And Greek yogurt.

Hi tbere!
The kids are off at the Air Museum and this is their last night here. My kids favorite meal, they all want mom to cook it, it country fried chicken, white gravy, browned rice and green beans. Each one can cook it, but they all would rather have Mom's. Matt and Aaron both cooked it while tbey were out serving their missions. Daniel asked me for it before they left this morning.
I got the Halloween quilt all bound and will send it home with Karlie. She loves blankets!
Well, diswashers are done and I need to load them again and then I am caught up for tonight. Hopefully all will not show up, but we will see, they make get leftovers! LOL! I know Michael and I will have leftovers for the bext couple of days.
Enjoy!

Jana, there are some things that are best when Mom does them. Doesn't it make you feel special? Enjoy your family.
As far a supper, disregard my earlier post. Dan got food when he was waiting for his car to be done, so I am at Mom's. We are having green and yellow beans, corn, meatloaf, cucumbers, and tomatoes. I will take it easy on the meatloaf and leave the butter off the corn and beans. I have butter sprinkles at home. Maybe I should get some for Mom and Dad's house.
Mom and I are doing last minute finishing to the quilts we are entering in our guild's show this weekend. Mom is going to drop them off, in the morning. I did a raw edge applique of my brother's dog, and the baby quilt from a couple months ago. Mom is entering her crazy Anita's Arrowhead Block quilt that she did for my nephew. It has spaceships and outerspace pictures in lots of very bright colors. Maybe I will get some pics of the show for your viewing pleasure.
We hope Mary and Irish are having a blast with their travels!
