The Importance of Restitution
Numbers 5:5-10

We need to accept the fact that justice is not always served in our imperfect world. For example, many crimes are committed for which adequate compensation is impossible. It is usually not within our power to demand and receive remuneration for harm done at the hands of another. However, one avenue of justice is open to all; a heavenly Father who sees each wrongful act committed here on earth. In the life to come, we will experience perfect justice, as its stated in the words of Isaiah above in the photo.

Until that day comes, we need to be sure that we have not intentionally wronged another. Ask the Lord if you need to apologize and make restitution for anything in your past. The joy and freedom that come from having a clean conscie3nce will lead you to a new level of intimacy with God. Don't put it off; take that first step today.

Hugs and prayers

Thanks Izzy for the devotional.

Asking forgiveness isn’t always easy but it is so important because The scripture teaches that we must forgive others just as Christ forgave our sins.It is required in Gods word if we are to havethat perfect peace. Becca
