Exodus 32:1-14
The Power of Intercession

Scripture speaks again and again of the power of intercession. The power is not in us as human beings, of course, or in the order or frequency of the words we speak. The power comes solely from God, the One who hears us.

Intercession is empowered when it is based on the promises of God. You can pray for another person, but if what your asking is not consistent with or contradicts His promises, your prayers would be effective. When your prayers for another are in line with His Word, God will respond. This is another good reason to read the Bible daily.

Base your prayers on the truth of God's Word. Who knows the difference your prayers can make?

I love this, Izzy...Prayer is so powerful. God knows our needs and wants.
I've learned so much from reading my Bible and reading how those in the Bible prayed.

This is such a great way to start my morning.

Prayers that we all see the blessings in today.
