Psalm 145
As we get to the final six Psalms of this collection of hymns and meditations, mostly attributed to David, they moved into a focus of praise and an attempt to articulated the glory and exaltation of which God is worthy in our lives and worship.
Among the reasons we cannot be restrained in speaking of
God's glory, talking about His power and testifying of His mighty acts are these:
*The Lord is gracious and merciful.
*The lord is slow to anger and great in loving kindness.
*The Lord is good to all.
*The Lord's mercies are evident in all His works.
*The Lord sustains all who fall and raises up those who are bowed down.
*The Lord provides food {physical needs} to all who look to Him in faith and trust.
*The Lord satisfies the desires {necessities of life} of every living thing.
*The Lord is righteous in all His ways and kind in all His deeds.
*The Lord is near to all who call upon Him.
*The Lord will fulfill the desire and save all who fear Him.
*The Lord protects and keeps all who love Him.
*The Lord will judge and destroy the wicked.
God created the world and "all flesh" to recognize His lordship and to praise and bless His name. We can be personally responsible only for our own attitudes, words, and actions, so with our mouth, we should speak of His praise and make known His glory.
