Daily Devotion Returns Sept 21

Psalm 76

We are so blessed to experience the loving kindness and grace of God that we sometimes ignore the reality of His wrath. It is always comforting to think of Him caring for us with the tenderness and gentleness of a shepherd. It gives us the confidence to know that His mercy is unending and He readily forgives and restores us when we come to Him in repentance, conf3essing our sin, whenever we have failed. But it is easy to become complacent and presume upon His grace, neglecting to realize His moral nature demands a wrathful response to sin and an independent spirit among His people. He cannot ignore and tolerate an arrogance that takes lightly the responsibility to walk in holiness and obedience to what He has commanded.

Our fear of the Lord should be due to the awe and respect we have for Him as we comprehend His greatness. (Hebrews 10:26-31) The fear of the Lord should, therefore, result in our faithfulness in fulfilling our vows of commitment to HIM.

Life had been super busy here and I have missed doing these devotions. I can not promise one every day but I will fulfill a devotion as often as I can. Love you all and I hope you find time daily to spend with the LORD who loves you even more!!

Cast not away your confidence, (Hebrews 10) the Lord is always there. Daily as we walk through this life, we commit sins of ommission and commission. We have been taught and given the principles of repentance, we just need to use them! Never losing sight of the great blessings awaiting us as we live the truths and teachings of our Savior.

Izzy What a blessing to see devotional is back.

With Daily life it's easy to neglect our time alone with God,but so rewarding.Daily confession of sins are important.I have always loved sheep & shepherds because they remind me of our Lord & Savior.And us as the sheep.A precious picture to me.
