SUPPER CLUB Monday June 19th

Post by gershwin64 » Mon Jun 19, 2017 8:11 am

Good morning :)
Mom is out of the hospital as of Thursday. So far she's doing pretty good. Dad was sick yesterday but he's better today.
I've been crazy busy between going to visit them and doing little projects around the house and before I knew what happened my house wad a mess but yesterday fixed that! We've taken out a flower bed so Frankie can put up a little green house he wants to use shower doors to make. Our temps are over 100* and no relief in site!
Super here will be pork chops on the grill, salad and then I'm not sure what else. What are your plans for supper?

Good afternoon!

Tina - so happy to read that mom is home. Getting a house back in order is a big chore!

Becca - favorite bbq is a good thing! 24 people is alot! Sounds like the crowd at this house!

Been busy here too. Rugs are done and the couch is half done. My laundry is down to two loads left. I am on a break at the moment. Still need a run to Costco a little later.

Dinner - someone else needs to cook it for me. I will have enough energy to lift my fork when I am done here.

Irish - I am so sorry to read of all the funerals. My heart goes out to you. Prayers are always there too.

Enjoy,
Jana

We have a few minutes to take a break in the action here. Computer is not set up yet so using phone. Tina glad mom is doing well. Sorry dad sick. Glad House is clean so you can do some sewing now.

Becca, your party sounds awesome! Hope your DH tolerated everything well

Jana, the fun never seems to stop at your house!

Irish so sorry about all the sadness and your family. I wish You had gone to your sisters for turkey dinner. You needed a hug and my arms aren't long enough to reach you from here

We have 90° here in Oregon. The strong breeze blowing so it is keeping as cool as we sit out under a big leafy tree in the shade with our friends. Doing a little hand work and just relaxing. We are putting chicken on the grill tonight and making wild rice, à la Rice-A-Roni Not sure what all else will make it to the table but there will be more contributions I am sure.
