SUPPER CLUB - thursday, June 15th
Good rainy morning!
It's supposed to rain all day long today. That's OK. We leave tomorrow but most of the packing is done so there won't be much traipsing in/out of the house/trailer. The biggie for today is to take my Bernie and BILL's vacuum in to the Sew'n'Vac place. See - everyone gets to go on vacation! lol! Then little things like timers on a few lamps, water plants, forward house phone to cell, etc. There might even be some time to sew a little before Bernie goes away.
IRISH - glad you came home happy! I see they are even having parades to celebrate your return! lol! I bet it has been awesome having Nick there even for a few days. I'm sorry he has to go home so soon. We are leaving in the morning for about 10 days, going to our RV Rally in LaGrande, Oregon. But first two nights will be spent on a sand bar on the Columbia - BLM land and camping is free. Then two nights will be at friends' in LaGrande (she is the fried who had double lung transplant 5 yrs ago). Then 5 nights at the RV Resort where Rally will be held. Then a night in the Cascade mountains along a river on the way home. That's the plan, anyway!
BECCA - It may be a bit of an physical ordeal for your DH on Father's Day with such a crowd, but I think it's wonderful that your family seems to think so much of the two of you and they are always there for you. Revel in it!
CHICKIE - As soon as you turn your babies into the pasture, they'll turn around and hang their heads the other direction, wanting back out! lol! You HAVE given Doyal is orders that these two are OUR PETS, right?? And how is Black Jackie doing?
We had meatloaf last night for supper and have half of it still left. So mashed potatoes, gravy, and salad will round things out for us tonite and clean up the leftovers.
What's on your menu tonite?

Good morning from warm, sunny, gorgeous, Sw. Pa....With all the rain we've been having, the grass and weeds are growing, super fast...But, you know, those tomatoes I planted a week or so ago haven't gotten the hint, still no red ones, lol.....
Today is a sad day, my Nick had to leave for N. Caroline...Something about a job, ugh, and then his orientation for school....Boy, I hated to see him leave but so happy that he is well on to the next chapter of his life...Have I said, how proud I am of these kids????
Mary, I really did feel "honored" with the parade and close to 600,000 of my closest friends being there....I'm already thinking of a repeat for next year....
Your trip sounds heavenly...Getting together with old friends is always special....
You know, I was also wondering about Chickie's "babies", hoping they remain pets......
Can't stay and chat, sheets need hung on the line, more flowers need planted and then I'm visiting with Jim...
Not even thinking about dinner...Do have some left over KFC from last night but just might check my sister's menu...
You all have a great day....
Happy eating.................

Good morning! We are in for another warm day… 90. Mary, I’d love some rain! I’ve watered the last two mornings.
Bill’s vacuum… lucky you! My new vac is ALL MINE! No curiosity on DH’s part for how it works or anything. Of course, I feel the same way about HIS riding mower. I don’t WANT to learn how to run it, or it will end up being MINE. I can smartly play dumb.
Your trip sounds beautiful and fun!
I don’t think I’m going to do brunch here Sunday. Most of the kids/families are busy, so I’m taking off. DH doesn’t care one way or the other.
Things have been a little crazy here this morning, but I have my floors swept and plan to work on Mom’s quilt today. I got started quilting on it yesterday.
Dinner tonight… burgers for DH (already cooked), and probably a baked potato for me from dinner the other evening. I’m sure I can put more goodies with those and round out the meal… it’s early yet.
Bon appétit!

Good morning,
I have the uglies caught up and now just waiting to change the one load of laundry. DH is fed and back out on the tractor doing the front lawn. He does the backyard first, as it faces east and gets warm fast.
Not much here, Sarah wants to make a run over to Winco for groceries. I must be a picky shopper - on average it takes between 3 and 4 stores to get groceries. Not one of the stores carries all of what we need here. Trips are planned!
Hopefully will see the Batt Cave.
Mary - once on a trip home from Utah, we went through Oregon and went across each bridge on the Columbia river. The kids loved it. Back and forth through Washington and Oregon. Even found a Stonehenge replica. Have fun!
Dinner - humm - maybe a corned beef, we will see.
Enjoy,
Jana
