Psalm 63

One of the most important conditions of a Spirit-filled life is to have a deep yearning and desire for God. We often go through times of dryness in our spiritual life when there is not the sense of God's presence. We grow weary working harder and harder, but our busyness produces no evidence of God's blessings, In a world that is blatantly ignoring God and His values, we long to see His power and glory manifested, even in judgment in not in revival.

Spiritual mediocrity is sometimes more devastating than occasional lapses into sin. There can be no pretense when we come into his presence. He discerns whether or not that passion and thirst for Him are there, and He always responds.

It is a precious experience to be aware of His presence continually, even as we lie in bed at night. We can walk in victory when we are consciously clinging to Him, confident He is the One that upholds us.

Last night my DH and I watched the movie The Shack. Oh my, a tear jerker for sure but a very wholesome movie. No cursing and all about a walk with God. I recommend it to all. It was uplifting to see such a movie made, one that honors God the Son and the Holy Spirit and kept from the world of movie making with cursing and junk.

May you have a blessed day!
Hugs Prayers and God bless

Izzy It's refreshing to see movies like that.
We need to be aware of Gods presence always & stay in communion with him.Im so thankful to know he's by my side wherever I go.The word is an encouragement & keeps us grounded. Becca

I was thinking I wouldn't see the movie. but after reading what you wrote I just might.

I did read the book. It was really one I couldn't just put down.
