Good Morning!
We are to have a dry day today and mostly sunshine! Though I think the max temp will be about 47'. Still, it may be a yard-working afternoon. My poor daffodils are trying to bloom amongst all the fall leaves still on the ground. There is work to be done. And lots of it.
I also received the fabric in the mail last night for the backings of two quilts, so I'll finish those up today. Then I guess it's time to choose one and load it on the frame. Some I want DH to quilt special patterns with his Q-bot, but some I will simply do freehand. He's pretty busy now with other projects so I guess I'm up!
IRISH - your Baby Girl likes to tease you, doesn't she! lol! As if you don't have enough excitement in your life . . Bad kitty! Did you find that Amish shop you were looking for? Hope you enjoyed your "chicken" last night . .
JANA - how is Aaron after having his wisdom teeth out? Our oral surgeon said Mother Nature is in the process of phasing them out as we don't need them any more, and it is hereditary in some families to have only some or even none. So in another million years, they won't be a problem!
BECCA - I hope if your problem is neuraglia that they have something to ease it now. My poor mom really suffered with it. I hope after 40 years there is relief out there.
CHICKIE - what a fun afternoon you had 'fluffing' all your nests! I have several bird houses around but no one seems much interested. Except in a ceramic birdhouse my mom made in ceramic classes we took together when I was 17,18,19. So it's OLD. and suddenly last year it was in high demand! I told Bill he needs to block off our pin box in our fifth-wheel. Two years ago we had nesting birds in there and were keeping tabs anxiously to see if the babies would fly in time for us to make our planned camping trip. They did, but we dont' want that to happen again!
TINA - so sorry for the allergies, the wind, and the dust. But how was dinner last night? Where did you go? We noticed restaurants in Deming last time we were there that we'd never seen before. One was Italian, I think. And I'm anxious to hear wedding plans!
I have no clue about supper yet. Maybe meatloaf and baked sweet potatoes. The 'loaf is already made and in the freezer. I'll add a salad and biscuits. But as always, Bill reserves the right to change my mind!
What's on YOUR mind for supper tonite?

Re: SUPPER CLUB - Sat, Feb 25th
Good early afternoon from a dreary, chilly, SW. Pa...We knew it was coming but boy the weather we had sure was nice...Hey, but no complaining (well a little) this is the end of Feb. and we are headed in the right direction.....Have you noticed it stays lighter later in the day, might only be a couple minutes but there again, right direction....
Mary, your yard sounds like mine..Just this mornig, looking out and seeing all those lilies popping up almost made me cry...I probably should have stayed home yesterday and raked up some of the leaves...And, I will say, the chicken was really good, I did enjoy it...But, the day was almost a complete disaster...We did get to the flooring place, getting lost on the way but "they" found me..We picked out the flooring and while talking to the fellow, Jim disappeared and was outside walking down the street...He can be so darn quiet some times...Then we ate and he didn't want to sit, then we went to the Amish store and he didn't want to be there (was great and I do have to go back, alone). Then we stopped at Kevin and Cindy's on the way home and again, he "acted" up and in a way, it was good for them to see but hard to handle...And then on the way home, I stopped at a red light and he opened the door to get out...Kathy called later and I couldn't even talk to her, he just wouldn't settle down until about midnight and then we were up again at 3:30...Just not sure what brought all this on but sure hope it doesn't happen again, well not again, soon....But, here's a good one...I, ME, the former person who worked with glasses/frames/eyes, broke his frame...I tried to adjust the nose piece and it just snapped off, so hopefully, today, we'll get a new frame for his lenses...So, there's my sad story but, today's another day and we'll make the best of it....
After writing my novel, I won't be able to chat with everyone...But, sure am wishing all good things and a great day for each...
I had a call from Kathy's DD, Jackie and she and her fellow are coming for the weekend. She usually stays with her DB, Dan so of course that means we'll have a bunch for breakfast in the morning...Seeing them brings so much joy, it's wonderful.....
And as far as dinner, can't rack the brain too much...Where we go for the glasses, there is a bakery and if we just happen to find some goodies, we'll both probably eat our share and not be hungry...But, if I have to, I'm sure something will jump our of the freezer....
Happy eating...............

Hello everyone.Late here but DGS & family spent the day.
Irish I wanted to cry as I read your post.Wow you sure had a day of it.Pray today has been a better one.I wondered if him going to so many places may have got him confused & agitated. My Heart goes out to you.And I think it's a good thing others saw him in that state.May open their eyes.
Hope you have a good visit with Jackie & her fellow.Have admiration for you.
Irish What kind of Amish store? We have visited the Amish Country & loved it.

We had a wonderful visit with DGS & his little ones. His wife was on a shopping trip with her Mom & sisters.Their little girl Sophie loves to cook. And go see flowers blooming. She also saw some knitted items I made & she was a happy camper when I gave her. Hat scarf & hand warmers.Had to find something for brothers. Was a good day for all.She helped me cook too.
