daily devotion jan 4

Isn't it nice to know someone is on your side? To know that God will fight for you and never let you go. Once you are in His hands He will never set you out on your own again. He is there to guide you, to walk with you, or to carry you. Reminds me of the poem Footprints.

What an awesome God we serve to know that He is always there for us. We can't say that for most of our own family and friends.

May the Lord bless each and every one of you:)

Hugs Prayers and God bless

Good Morning, Izzy:

What a great verse to remember! How hard it is, to just be still!

I am always wanting to hurry things up, or do something to make it happen quicker. I need to listen to this verse and learn to be still and wait. Trust, lean on HIM and have great FAITH.

I am in Velda's boat. Wanting it to happen quicker.

I find it a blessing to look over my life and see where God has led me. I can see where the choices I've made have gotten me to where I am.

I have found that praying gives me good directions and He will show me the way.

Thanks Izzy, these devotions are a great way to start my day. I really appreciate it.

It is hard to be patient and wait on the Lord. But wait I do. I often remember the poem, Footprints, and realize when I thought I was on my own, his footprints were the ones in the sand, not mine, as I was being carried through the many trials I have faced in my life.

I have learned to wait for the answers to my prayers, learning that sometimes the answer is no, it is still a answer.
