There is only one way to get wisdom and that is to read your scriptures from your bible. It amazes me each time I read and I get a new crumb of knowledge that I may not have understood or seen the first time I read the same passage.
God opens our eyes and our minds when he knows the words will most fit our lives and understanding. I have a Holeman study bible that also gives a great intro to the books with a timeline and history and a little about the setting and author of each book as well. I love to read this to get my mind set into the atmosphere of the writers time and place. The bible to me is like a mystery novel. I read and try to put all the pieces together to figure out who did it---But we know who did it JESUS-- the ending of this novel was told in the beginning of it:) How awesome is that!!
