Daily devotion 8/5

This verse is so true. I know when I was working I would always tell my coworkers that I work my hours at the job but I do not take it home with me. On Wed they always had faculty meetings. I never stayed and told my supervisors that Wed was church and I was not allowing work to interfere with my chance to serve the LORD. Nothing was said after that. My supervisors all the Principals knew where I stood on matters. They also knew by my actions: not meeting with teachers in the halls to chit chat and gossip, not eating lunch with groups of teachers that my walk was complete. I was not making an excuse for one day that I didn't hold true every day. Some of the staff would always question me where I was and I when I replied at church or in my room eating lunch and reading my bible nothing more was said.

God is good all the time:) Go serve HIM and your enemies will be silenced:)

God bless

Sometimes it is hard to stand for the right, but it is always a blessing when we do!

DH's coworkers all knew of our religion and when there was a company dinner, they would be the first ones to ask the waiter to remove the wine glasses from us,and let them know that we do not drink. When the boss needed a straight answer, he would come to Michael, knowing that he would tell him the truth and not what he wanted to hear.

There is a scripture, that we will stand for the right, at all times, in all things and in all places.
