I dont think as a nation we praise the LORD our GOD enough. I dont think as individuals we give thanks for all HE does in our daily life. We take for granted so much each day. The clothes on our backs, the food in our mouths, and the roof over our heads. Its not by our doing but by GODS grace and ultimate sacrifice that we have such luxuries and pleasures. So many think it is all their doing. In a blink of an eye He who provided it all can take it away.
A good friend of my DH lost their home last winter to a house fire. They exited the home with their lives in the middle of the night. Their son was able to grab their 3 hunting rifles that sat by the door on his way out. His wife got their daughter out and all was gone. They have a strong faith in the LORD; they sang praises the next Sunday in church and thanked GOD for opening their eyes to what really mattered. How many of us could say the same. How many would curse the LORD for taking it all and stating how hard they worked to aquire it?
Its by HIS grace that we prosper. Are you here serving a risen LORD or are you here serving a falling dollar?
