Daily Devotion 7/7

We just celebrated our Independence day as a nation; yet you turn on the tv and the celebration is over when you see all the sin that is out there. Murders, thefts, lies, and more scandals. We as a nation have crumbled with in our own borders. Many are without the LORD. When my DH planted a new church in our area 2 years ago he did some research to see how many people were unchurched in the area vs how many go to church. In this small rural area 83% were unchurched or no longer attending a church full time. 83% how sad--that left only 17% in church. We have come short of the glory of GOD. We as christians need to fulfill the Great Commission and go from east to west north to south and reach the lost for our LORD and Savior.

Who have you witnessed to lately??? I am in the same sinking ship as yourselves. I have had no one on my list for a while. I miss going out soul winning and reaching the lost. I use to do it once a week but now in the rural area I am in houses are few and far between. No excuses; my mission now is to teach my young sprouts the Romans Road to Salvation so they can understand and be accountable and accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior.

Pray, ponder then ACT!!! Your community is as lost as mine. One of my favorite hymns is We'll work til Jesus comes:) Have you clocked in or are you still on vacation?

God Bless

Izzy Our Nation has turned away from God & that is when the structure weakens, then crumbles. It is happening everyday.May we all have a desire to tell others about Jesus & what he can do for them. There is none greater. To God be the glory as we work for him.

The righteous will gather and their prayers for this nation are heard. But we must be due diligent in protecting our religious freedoms. They are being taken little by little. In the upcoming elections, those precious freedoms should be our highest concern.

We each have a belief in God, just different approaches, but if we just open our mouths, someone who needs to hear about the blessings of a loving Heavenly Father, will be placed in our paths. It is amazing to hear of such stories from our missionary. The door is often shut on him by those with varied excuses, but then they find someone who has been praying for the answers they have. What joy that is!

We are a example of living life, in the best that we can, to follow the Savior's teachings and that light does show forth. Don't ever apologize for what you belueve in!

Hugs,
Jana
