Clean my iron

Post by Quiltmama1958 » Tue Jul 05, 2016 11:23 am

Help! I was working on an applique project and got the fusible on my iron. Now it sticks and drags when I use it. How can I easily clean it or do I need to replace it? Thanks!

I use a new dryer sheet spread out on my ironing board and run my hot iron across it. I'm amazed that fusible has come off cleanly with it. Alcohol on a clean cloth may also work for you.

I too use both methods chickie mentioned. You can also by a cleaner at hobby lobby or even wal mart in the sewing section that works great also:)

No worry we all have had this happen:)
