Supper club, June, 10th, Friday........
Good morning from a very sunny, very pleasant, SW. Pa....Well, I say pleasant but, last night our Penguins lost to Jana's Sharks and now we have to travel back to San Jose....Sure was hoping for a home win and keep the cup in the "burgh"....Oh well, we'll see.....
But, it is a gorgeous day and hopefully, I won't lose my "get up and go" until I accomplish at least half my list....I played yesterday, lunch and a trip to Costco with my gal friends so today is a make up day....Sheets are on the line, had started cleaning the basement and then of course got off track and ended up doing living room windows...I need to learn to focus! But, do have a lot of errands to run and then also need to check on DGS's fur babies...He's away again and Gram needs to do some spoiling....I really am wanting to get outside but the inside kind of has me in it's grasp and outside will have to wait, maybe.....
Haven't heard from Mary so I guess she has no service up there in "them thar woods"...Knowing Mary, she's having a great time, no matter what she does.....
I know you all must be pretty busy and am hoping all is well....For our dinner, I'm thinking, there might be enough stuffed pepper left for the 2 of us...And I was thinking of baking brownies for the family next door (he trimmed our hedges) and I'm sure they won't mind if I take a tiny corner for Jim.....
I'm going to finish my cup of tea and "get er done"....
Other than that, I'm as boring as ever......
So, what's on your schedule/menu? Has to be more exciting than mine.....
Happy eating.................

Good morning,
Irish - sorry my Sharks had to spoil the burgh's hopes! Not! LOL During the last year all major championships have been held in the Bay Area, NBA, NHL, NFL and hopefully the World Series. And I moved out of the area! Inside chores is the plan here - waaaaay to hot outside.
Dinner - the kids are gone overnight and we have two activities at the same time I have to be at. One is the daddy daughter activity night - we are playing a form of the old newlywed game - how well do you know your daughter or dad. The questions are a hoot! At the same time it is our age church group bbq and games. I need a clone! LOL
Enjoy,
Jana

Hey ladies You all crack me up with the games:) I only watch football:)
Got home from daddys appt. Doesnt look good. Dr said with his RA it is most likely weight loss is due to disease; other diagnosis is for him to see a stomach/intestinal specialist since reoccuring colitis and rule out the ugly C word. When I took over his care he was 132 pounds. He weighed in today at 117. every month he losses 3 or more pounds. He is so funny though. He could care less about that only hates fact dr wont let him drive LOL Dementia is reason and he falls asleep if he sits still. HUMM think that would be a probem LOL HE doesnt.
Retirement is to take care of my parents I have had little time to sew since retired.
But I will get er done soon. Lots of ufos and reason I join the swaps to make myself sew something LOL:)
Ok supper tonight is easy: Cook out at VBS. I am headed upstairs to cook baked beans and cut maters, lettuce and onions for the burgers now.
Hugs and happy cooking.
Izzy
