Daily Devotion 6/3

I read this verse several times this morning. The more you read it the more you will understand the in depth meaning behind it. Men are to be the leaders, the protectors and the providers. Unfortunately we have strayed from what GOD devised in the roles of man and woman over the years. The world has went astray from what HE wanted us to have and do in life.

I am fortunate My home is still as God wanted it: the man leads, protects and provides. I am his helpmeet and always will be. God devised a plan from the start; yet even like the garden of Eden sin crept in. If only we could have followed His way from the very beginning; oh how sweet and easy life would have been.

Just remember if it were not for the first Man a woman would not even be. We were created from his bone: a rib taken and then Gods creation completed. Humble beginnings for us all.

In His great plan of salvation for us, He gave man and woman special roles to fulfill here on this earth. Each to help the other and to us women, the gift of nurturing. I too am grateful to have a home, where my husband can preside and allow me the opportunity to nurture and love the he children in our family.
