Supper club, March 13, Sunday

Post by Quilter7 » Sun Mar 13, 2016 12:41 pm

Skipping an hour ahead doesn't mean we aren't eating in our house! lol
Tonight though will be dinner out. DH wants to go to the gym to get some exercise. We both have napped after early morning Mass and a light breakfast.

Irish - I think you are busy feeding your son and making sure the leftovers are safely packed into the car.

Becca - Hope you had good weather and felt good enough to go for a walk.

I have been sewing a block together and waiting patiently until the wedge ruler arrives on Tuesday so I can make the Water Wheel block. Eleanor said it can be made in 10 minutes. it should be fun.

Good afternoon,

Just about super time here, chicken, stuffing, gravy and green beans will grace our plate.

Just got home from church and it will be a quiet time here, no kids to visit us. We like that sometimes.

Enjoy,
Jana

Good evening from SW. Pa....We did indeed have a busy day and I could use that hour we lost...

Carol, you guessed right...It took some time getting his car packed with all kinds of goodies...And I feel so much better knowing he and Nick will be eating "real food" not just picking as I think they're doing....I'm going to have to check out the Water Wheel block, sounds interesting....

We did go to early Mass and then the Knights of Columbus at church had a pancake breakfast so we stayed for that...When Terry visits, he tries to see as many of the family he can fit in and our family isn't small, lol....He and the boys will be back for Easter and hopefully, he'll get to see everyone...

I haven't heard any loud noises coming from the west coast so maybe Mary and Chriss are behaving them selves, at least for today...I can only imagine what those 2 will think up.....And what fun the 2 dogs will be having....

For our dinner, we did have some left overs from the chicken dinner we had last night (what I hadn't packed up)...And Jim had his pumpkin pie...I think he was afraid I had packed it up but Terry had taken all the brownies so Jim had his pie.....
Hate it when he leaves for N.Carolina, house is so quiet.....

Well, it's almost time for me to get into my PJs and find my book...I'm reading James Patterson's new book and it is one of his best.....

You all have a good evening............

Good evening, I am sitting here in my truck at the halfway meeting spot waiting to pick up DGD for spring break on the farm. We need a quick run to the store, then some kind of ready-made or take out food for dinner. My DD us always late, it seems; I should have had something for dinner I could do in the crock pot. I had no idea just how late it was going to be. Oh well, I have been busy all day, so take out will be nice... lousy selection.
