Supper club, Mar. 10th, Thursday......
Good morning from a "kind of" dreary, slightly cooler, Sw. Pa...Like I said, yesterday, I think we're going to pay for the summerlike days we've been enjoying....But, I have to remind myself, this is only March and anything can happen.....
I did see that our Mary will be arriving at Chriss' house this weekend..Being right in style, I'm very green with envy...Can you just imagine the trouble those 2 can get into???? But, this also means, Mary is closer to getting back to the table...She sure has been missed....
Jana, Had to laugh when I read about your B&B...You must have missed that in the fine print, when you moved into your house....So sorry to hear about Kate's sister...Hopefully it was found early and with treatment, she'll be fine in no time...Will certainly keep her in my prayers....
Becca, when we have the nice weather, I always picture you on your walk...And if it's not nice, I picture you with your knitting needles, whipping up something special...I'll bet you're getting excited, won't be long until you get all those hugs and kisses....
Tina, and you, I picture as a whirlwind, always busy...Maybe more like that "energizer bunny"...Those little ones are so blessed to have you taking care of them.....
Carol, my DD, Kathy, just sent me a text to tell me her DH had transplanted 32 tomato plants and about as many peppers...Some were plants from last year, some were seeds he had started...Going to be lots and lots of salads and tomato sandwiches in her house....Makes my mouth water just thinking......
Today, being kind of dreary means inside stuff but so far I don't know what that stuff will be...I did my errands yesterday, helped the economy...With all the yarn my DS brought me, I couldn't believe I didn't have blue for a baby afghan and actually had to buy it...I could get started on that, I could do some uglies or I could just pick up the new book I got from the Library...Tough to make decisions!
But, dinner has been decided...A while back, I had made a couple of meals and stuck them in the freezer and 1 just happen to be meat balls and sauce so tonight's the night.....Easy peasy!
So what's happening in your kitchen, left overs, new food???
Happy eating..............
Eagle Update:
In another nest not too far from me, Harmar, they have an egg...This nest is fairly new with a young couple...Last year, their egg wasn't viable so hopefully, this will be a good year for them...
All the other "bobble heads" are getting big and still trying to figure out what to do with their big feet and those strange wings.....

Irish, we're cooler here too plus we're having yucky winds. LOL I don't think I'm the energizer bunny but I sure am a deflated balloon by the end of the day.
I laid chicken out to thaw, not sure what it'll end up being yet.....maybe just grill it if the weather allows and toss it in a salad.

Hello everyone from sunny Carolina &"74. Wow I could get used to this. But know better as it is early March.Yes Irish I took my walk after lunch.Groceries & errands this morning.
I had a scare at A store this morn when I opened my purse & couldn't locate my billfold.Went to car.Prayed & looked again.I had put it on the side instead of inside.Knew when I put some change in at home I stuck it in when in a hurry. But I learned a good lesson.
Irish You are so blessed to have the young man come to help. Our DGS used to do that with his neighbor.Thought it was nice.He is the one in WA.Oh I wish I was close.I have a yarn supply that will never run dry.And I donated a lot to church.
Jana Prayers for your DDILs sister that they caught it early.
Carol7 Hard to believe I am warmer than you.
Tina You are running like usual I know to keep up with little ones. That is tough when we get older. They are so fortunate to have you near.
As I was in town I picked up DH banana pudding at deli.He is happy.I have black beans & rice for a rerun & will add turkey sausage .Becca
Chickie Loved your story of dogs going on trip & too much trouble to round them up.

Good afternoon! We have had a beautiful day here. Sunny and high 60s. The dogs and I got in almost two miles—down to Ava’s, then over to DS3’s. He came by this morning and brought some mending, so we dropped it off after going to see Ava. Now I need a big glass of limeade! I hope to find my sewing room next.
Tonight we are having fajitas… there is some leftover steak, and I have the rest of the veggies and tortillas to go with the meat. I’m set! I really OUGHT to bake something…. I probably won’t.
Oh, Irish! I’m so envious… tomatoes and peppers!!! I can’t wait!!! Our DS3 has a huge garden, and I get peppers from him. I need to talk him into doing poblanos. I think he does every other variety.
Enjoy!

Hi Everybody!
Yesterday was report card day at the schools so I have had a few days this week of no work. I made good use of the time by getting to yoga a couple of times and exercising more, but also making a quilt. I made a summer porch quilt using blue, green, turquoise, and purple with red highlights and black sashing. I think it is very pretty. I used the layout on page 128 in the "Quilts through the Seasons" book. It was fun and fast to make!
Becca - Yes, you are warmer than we are, but only by a few degrees. High today here was 69*.
Tina - We are getting more winds tomorrow with the next storm. I think our storms head your way.
Chickie - Glad you are getting in the walking.
Irish - I have a quite a few plants that have just sprouted up from last year. They are the cherry tomatoes I plant near the house. I didn't have to buy cherry tomato plants last year either.
Here is a picture of what I am working on, I think I will add a black border before it is finished:

Today will be leftover pork chop skillet dinner.
