SUPPER CLUB - Fri, Dec 11th

Post by purrfect-lady » Fri Dec 11, 2015 4:06 am

Good Morning!

I can't believe that December is more than a third over! The time! The time! Where is it all going??

JANA - I SOO feel for you, having food poisoning. Please tell me you reported it to the restaurant and ideally to your local health department. They need to know so others don't get sick, too. I hope you are feeling better today.

VELDA - how was the pot-luck? Great idea with the corn.

BECCA - you are really flying through those aprons. How many do you plan to make? My two grandsons expressed an interest in learning to sew years ago, but by the time I was able to see them again, it had passed. I have no grand-daughters. So I love seeing others being able to pass on our art!

IRISH - what all are you allergic to? If it's cats, you're out of the club!!

TINA - I hope you aren't going hungry!

We are having our friends, Gus & Claudia, over for supper tonite. Bill says he wants to have the same Parmesan Chicken we had last weekend. It turned out fit for company, though this company would eat mud pies and be happy about it if that's what I served. Nice to have friends like that! I'm also going to have hot buttered noodles, broccoli salad, garlic bread, ice cream & cookies for afters. And I hope there's leftovers!

I hope you aren't reduced to mud pies for YOUR supper!!

Good morning from slightly dreary but going to be sunny and warmer, SW. Pa....It's really hard to believe this is Dec. with the gorgeous weather we're having.....Yesterday, it was light jacket weather and I saw people in flip flops....

Mary, I agree, where has the time gone.....AND not to worry, I'm not allergic to the cats even though he did that test twice...I'd get rid of the doctor if he told me that....He's still trying to figure out my problem, lol....Seeing 3 doctors in 2 days is just a bit much but I have all the puncture marks to prove it...Have a new bandage on the forehead but only for a couple more days and then, bandage free, I hope.....And, just want you to know, I took James Patterson to bed with me last night and ended up spending half the night with him...WOW, what a good one!

Becca, I missed what you are doing with the aprons...But, knowing you, it's a good thing....

Jana, oh my girl friend, that's terrible...As Mary said, hope you reported it...Glad to see you had a good "nurse"..Those husbands do come in handy every once in awhile....Hope you're feeling better real soon.....

Mary, your dinner sounds purrrfect...I love, love buttered noodles and every once in awhile, will just make a handful for myself.....In fact, I just might have to make some today.....
I'm thinking we better take advantage of the warm weather and fire up the grill....So, burgers on the grill, buttered noodles and maybe a salad.....Always have ice cream for afters.................

Happy eating................

Good morning! I'm still around... mainly in my sewing room. I finally posted in the Sew In if you are curious.

Jana--I've been seeing all about the food poisoning at Chipotle. Hope you are recovering!

Irish--those noodles do sound delicious! Maybe I'll add noodles to our leftovers here. I just about have the fridge cleaned out for shopping day tomorrow. That means I'll just have to cook again.

Mary--enjoy your company! I love guests who will eat anything and love it, too! Of course... there are some guests who just don't eat certain special delicacies from the pond... But... that's fine with me... more later for me!!! You are great guests!

Enjoy your day!!!

Mary z I am making 2 more aprons today.I still have 5 little girls I can make for.The ones I just made all go to WA.They did turn out cute.Got goodies this morning & it is all in box ready to go.

Irish The aprons are for GDGDs.And one GDGS.He has 3 sisters so he cooks too.
I am on shots now for cats & dogs.Plus mold dust & pollen.Sure hope the get you figured out soon. That Dring is no fun.

Chickie I can see that machine flying.Mine has been too.I had to stop & clean it out this morning as the cozy batting had it clogged.Runs much better now.
