SUPPER CLUB - Sun, Oct 4th
Good Morning!
We've got some pretty fall weather going on here these past few days. Hope they continue as we are leaving this morning to go camping our way around the Olympic Peninsula. We should be home Thursday or Friday at the latest.
IRISH - so is this Son and DIL the ones who are divorcing? Good of your son to head off that bullet for you! I had the 'Irish" game on last night for a few minutes while I was in the kitchen, but that rain!! It was more attention-getting than the players on the field! I finally turned the TV off and went to huddle in front of the fire downstairs. So - did they win?
JANA - I love that you can sew in your jammies! Such a practical way of attending church!
SHERRY - I like to think of my down time as when ideas for new sewing projects are conceived! I love jigsaw puzzles but don't take the time to work them often.
CHICKIE - I bet your dogs love their life with you! But you may need to get a bigger bed as well as more chairs! lol!
Last night we cleaned up most of the leftovers and I'm just not sure what will go on the table tonite. Maybe burgers. We'll be camping and, while I packed enough to feed six folks for at least 3 nights, the other gals might have plans, too, that they haven't shared. But so far, neither of them has talked food, so I thought I ought to go prepared.
Do you realize, we'll probably be decorating our Christmas tree 8 weeks from today?? Are you ready?

Good morning,
Mary - yes I am ready for Christmas, but not the snow that comes too! I was helping my DDIL, Crenda, plan how to decorate a new second tree for their home. She doesn't have enough ornaments for two trees, so we came up with a plan. It will be a huge tree, as she has a 20 ft. ceiling. Enjoy your trip, it is so pretty up there.
Dinner - I have a couple of cube steaks and will add some potato and veggie.
Conference is so wonderful - great lessons and sewing!
Enjoy,
Jana

Jana--I'm sure you are enjoying your sewing while listening. I'm not ready for Christmas or winter! I never am, so nothing has changed! I am enjoying the cooler weather here--just around 70 is perfect!
MaryZ--I don't need more chairs! This was said by the cleaning lady (that would be me) after de-hairing and de-gritting sofas and chairs today as well as the floors. I could have my own sand beach with the grit in this house!
At one time in the night (sometime early this morning), I had a little dog snuggled in on both sides of me. DH had gotten up and was sleeping in the recliner to get back relief. Some little guys decided to take his place and keep me warm!
Dinner here will be steak for DH, soup for me, veggies and salads.

Tonight's dinner was meatloaf, mashed potatoes, peas and salad. I made small meatloaves so I did not cook 3 of the pans so we can have meatloaf dinners some other time in the coming weeks.
