Supper club, Sept. 17th, Thursday (already)
Good late morning from a very sunny, getting warm, gorgeous, SW. Pa...As Mary would say, just purrrfect!
I'm surprised no one has made it to the table yet today....You gals must be really busy......
Not much happening in this neighborhood...With the kids back in school, it's pretty quiet although, we don't have the number of youngsters as in the past...Miss all those "old" things....
Being so "busy", (haha) the last few days, I forgot to tell you all I had a visit again from Mr. Schwan and of course he was in his shorts, looking as good as ever....And in talking, I asked about his daughter who I thought was still in school...Seems, she's graduated from college and is now on the Pgh. city police force and also found out, she's working out of the same zone as my DGS, Chris' son...Boy, what a small world....
As I said, not much happening...Do have sheets on the line and will attempt to do some yard work if I can get Jim to help...Any more, he's content to keep that recliner company, so we'll see....And hoping to work on some kittie blocks, so far only half done....It's been hard to use the machine because of BabyGirl being so clingy...Simba, our late Persian, liked to "help" when I sewed and 1 day, his tail got too close to the wheel and, oh well, after that, he didn't like to help as much, lol.....
As far as dinner, last night's grilling turned into pizza from Schwan so tonight I'll fire up the grill.....Still have chicken and fresh cauliflower.....Not sure about afters, cinnamon rolls are gone.....
So, what or who is firing up your kitchen today???....
Happy eating.................

Good Morning!
Thanks, Irish, for getting the table set. I guess I spaced out this morning. I was on the forum, my coffee got gone, so I guess I just got up and wandered away.
Glad you and Mr. Schwann had a good visit. You should encourage those kid cops to meet. maybe they could get a thing going and you could get a rate on your food!
I finished my Christmas Swap Quilt top this morning and am going to try making up one of my RBR patterns from Alaska. That and the laundry should keep me out of trouble today!
I'm sitting here eating my oatmeal and noticed a big crack in my bowl. It was in the dishwasher the other night when Naughty Scottie crashed everything. Guess there was one casualty after all.
Supper tonite is easy! We have a little steak to grill and share, some leftover baked sweet potatoes to warm up, and enough greens for a salad each. I'm thinking of adding frozen corn, too, but we'll see how we feel when we get that far. We won't go hungry for sure!

Good morning!
Irish - funny - my MIL had a persian kitty named Simba too. We always called him Boo-boo though. He wasn't a friendly kitty, but hecsure ruled the roost at that house. All she ever had were persians. Me - I love mutts!
Mary - hopefully that is the only casualty from the Scottie escapade. Perry, the cat here loves to push my lamps off of where he wants to lay in front of the windows - lost many a lamp shade!
Dinner - since the meatloaf was a hit last week, DH wants a encore tonight.
Enjoy,
Jana

I'm finally making it here. The electric company has been replacing poles all Summer up and down our road, they did something earlier and knocked my power out, the boss came over and I wasn't a happy camper, I was working on my computer trying to save and move stuff and poof it went off, I hope it isn't messed up.
I'm thinking supper tonight will be something on the grill and salad.
