Supper club, June 19th, Friday......

Good morning from another dreary, overcast, wet, SW. Pa...More rain and more expected...Not a good day for playing in the yard, for sure....

But, when I read about other parts of our country so much worse off that we are, I'm grateful for what we have.....Between rain drops, I've checked the garden and everything is growing, especially the weeds..lol...Gonna be a good year for tomatoes....

Today is going to be clean the basement, starting with my laundry room...It is a mess, a total mess...I should have started yesterday being garbage day...Our oldest DS stopped down and looked at our up coming plumbing project and said, he'd be back later today with his DS...It's going to be a big job and you all know, if you have to break up cement, lots and lots of dust.....

Haven't really thought about dinner but for afters I'm will be making a strawberry pie...How's that for starting with dessert???I do have lots of goodies in the freezer so we'll see what falls out 1st....Right now, my taste buds aren't awake yet.....

So, what has your mouth watering for today????

Hello Irish & all,We have another hot dry day here.Thats our pattern for this week.

Irish Sounds like major work at your place.Plumbing is a big job.My DS & his 3 sons own a plumbing company.

Well our DGS & his family were coming tomorrow.He called this morning to say 3 have the virus that is making its round.I had already made my cole slaw,peeled potatoes & cooked my chicken to put into BBQ sauce.So I froze the chicken.Plan to cook the potatos and freeze them.The slaw we will eat.They are coming next Saturday.

DS called to say he will come on Sunday & take us out along with DDIL & DGS.

Our DD give her Dad her gifts on Wednesday.We had a great visit.We do not get to see her a lot so the time tog. Is special.

I did get the yard mowed.Everything here is very dry.Just the opposite of you Irish & Tina.

I am making rice,cole slaw,& beef roast.DH has cherry pie.DD bought us our fav lemon & ginger cookies so we are set.Happy eating....Becca

Good morning,

Dinner will be very late tonight - I have some pot stickers that I will fix with some rice. We have church stuff in the late afternoon, early evening, so it will be a quick fix dinner after all is done.

Doing some hemming of pants today and Ethan is here for a short time while his parents and Stu have gone to see the new movie - Inside Out from Pixar. The new movie Minions is on the list to see as well. Sarah's DH is a animator by his college degree, so he loves these.
