SUPPER CLUB - Sun, Mar22nd

Post by purrfect-lady » Sun Mar 22, 2015 3:44 am

Happy Sunday, everyone!

BECCA - happy birthday today!! I hope it's all blooms, balloons, and butterflies for you today!

JANA - happy birthday tomorrow to your niece! I think your backsplash will look awesome! How's Kate doing? And now how's Matt doing?

JOANNE - ahhh, windows open! Other than a few days a couple of weeks ago, no one is opening windows here yet! Oooh, BLT's! One of my faves!

IRISH - so how's everything going at your house? The basketball and the robots?

TINA - are you taking baths yet? What a job putting that tub in! Having been in your house and knowing the path the tub had to take to get to the bathroom (I know, it took a shortcut!) I can't imagine the job it's been! Our butterflies have been a lot of fun, haven't they!

the dinner party at our friends last night was fun, but I was worn out by the time we got home at 9:30. They cooked a turkey in the dutch oven outside, but also did a pork roast as a back-up supper in case the turkey didn't turn out. There was a LOT of food! Now we're going to do it all over again tonite, this time going to my DD, Lara's, house. It's very easy to get used to letting other folks cook my supper!

Wish you all could come have supper with us!

Hi Everyone,

Good early afternoon from sunny but very chilly, SW. Pa....With the sun, it's looks like it should be in the high 79s BUT, step outside and it's only 40...

Mary, Wow, 2 days in a row with someone else doing the cooking, you really know how to do it...And, I'm sure you won't/can't be expected to cook on your birthday, right?????
I was so worn out from watching the robot competition, you would have thought I had been right there in the stands...But, although my guys didn't win, they did make it to the finals and came in 2nd...And when you consider close to 200 different teams, (all future engineers) that's pretty darn good....But very nerve wracking for this old lady
but I am so proud.....

Becca, Happy, happy Birthday just pretend I'm singing, you really wouldn't want to hear me live.....Hope your day is a good one....

Joanne, did you happen to see the end of the Notre Dame game late last night? Jim had gone to bed but I was a glutton for punishment and stayed up but had a happy ending....And no cooking for you!

Carol, you too are celebrating...Happy day to your DH, happy day for you also......

Well darn, everyone is eating out and here I am at home....The pizza that didn't appear last night might just happen to be on the menu today....So, I'm not cooking either, just decided!

Happy eating.................

Becca--happy birthday!

I've been working outside in the flower beds and hanging out laundry all day. Time to go bring in the laundry now. Tonight will be re-runs or smorgasbord to make some room in the fridge. I'm too tired to cook!

Carol--HB to your DH! 65 was a very good year...
