Good rainy morning! It's not going to be a very good day here. But then I'm not going outside so I guess it doesn't matter - to me, anyway.
I have no idea what dinner will be tonite. I'm thinking of sending DH to the store to buy some good chicken soup from the deli. He went for a few groceries yesterday and I texted him to please bring soup home. But he never heard the phone, as usual. So I think I'll send him back today.
If the soup doesnt' happen, then it will be poached eggs, I think. I'm not feeling too "cooky" these days.
What's the plan at your house?

I'm sorry you still don't feel well, Mary!
Tonight will be smoked kielbasa sausage, sweet potato casserole (butter, brown sugar and marshmellows on Earl's half!), and some peas. I put the casserole together yesterday.
Since it it National "pi" day today, I might just stick a Market Day Apple Pie in the oven...for Earl!
It's been raining since yesterday...but in the 50's...but gloomy. Tomorrow the sun will shine!
Joanne
Edit: Menu changed...Earl said to order a pizza delivery...(might have something to do with that apple pie I put in the oven! lol!!)
Second Edit! Earl changed his mind again and we went to The Feed Mill..one of our favorite restaurants, but about one half hour from home, so we don't go very often! He said we would do pizza tomorrow..lol!

Re: SUPPER CLUB - Sat, March 14th
Good afternoon from dreary, stopped raining (I think), Sw. Pa...Wasn't a good morning for our parade marchers and watchers....But, I'm sure they all made it through....
It's kind of a sad day here in the Pgh. area...As you know, I'm an eagle watcher and 1 of the 2 eggs in the nest was cracked and is not longer viable...Not sure what happened, maybe from one of the parents talons when turning or possibly the weather...But, it was sad to see the parents and their grieving....
Oh Mary, it doesn't sound like you're feeling too much better...You really do need that soup and lots of snuggles from the fur kids....
Joanne, I dare not mention your pie to Jim or you might have company..I'm not even going to tell him this is national pi day....
Things are looking pretty slim in the cooking at this house...I'm thinking, hot ham and cheese sandwiches and my left over hulushki....
And, I'm going to search the freezer hoping to find a package of cookies........
Happy eating...............
Did you know.....St. Patrick was sold into slavery at the age of 16...
