SUPPER CLUB - Sat, Nov 15th

Post by purrfect-lady » Sat Nov 15, 2014 2:32 am

Nov 15th is already half over! I can't believe it!

We took our chili to our DD's last night and gave all the leftovers to our SIL. he often works from home and likes fast lunches. So for us, it's new food! Grilled chicken breast, dressing on the side, and a salad, I think.

It will be chilly for grilling, but that's OK. That's what coats are for!

So will you be chilling and grilling tonite, too, or will you be indoors, toasting and broasting? (OK, I'm trying too hard here. sorry. >^+^< )

We will have fried chicken tonight. DGS's PTO is having a fund raiser, and they order dinners from Chicken Annie's. I ordered my tickets when I thought MaryZ and Bill would be here, so there is going to be extra. I'll take two dinners to Mom to share with my BIL while my sister is out of town at a craft fair. Of course, we could eat them all, but that might be considered gluttony, even if we did save some for tomorrow (I will anyway).

We will be inside warming, and the dogs will be swarming hoping for dropped crumbs.

So, does everyone have chicken on tonight's menu?

Hi from south La. We will be having our customary grilled burgers tonight. (With coats!) It's chilly for this time of year. We had a "protect pipes, plants, pets, and people" warning last night. It's early for that sort of cold here. I'm afraid we may be in for another nasty winter. Where's that "global warming"? My prayers going to all in need, Abita Quilter Mom

Good afternoon,

Sarah, Stu, and Ethan will be here for dinner tonight. So I will do broccoli cheese soup in homemade bread bowls. Sarah wants to work on projects in the Batt Cave tonight, while her DH is at "geek night" - all his cousins and a ton of computers for games.

Enjoy,
Jana
