Wow, I can't believe I'm the first to start today! Good morning to all that follow and I hope you have a great day. Tonight the family is going to a Ducks Unlimited Banquet here in town. Usually the meal is good, some sort of catered thing. Watching the crowd bid on DU items is a hoot. (or a quack!)LOL We have been involved in DU our whole lives. Conservation for wildlife is a wonderful endeavor. Have any of you ever been to a DU Banquet or other type of wildlife thing? If not, I highly recommend going to one near you. Here's to the Ducks! Hugs and prayers from South Louisiana
OOPS I'm not the first. I bow to the lady from WA.

Abita, that happens occasionally and no bowing necessary at all! Though now that I'm "Lady Washington" perhaps there is. lol!! I love your Ducks Unlimited organization. They have a shop here in Gig harbor, and also a really nice campground a few miles from DH's sister's house near the ocean beach. We stay there when we visit his sister.
If Lady WAshington gets cumbersome, some folks just call me "Mary". To be honest, that's not my real name either, but it's the one I grew up with. My older brothers named me Virginia Mary, but I became Mary after my grandmother who died not long before I was born.
