SUPPER CLUB - Friday, May 30th

Post by purrfect-lady » Fri May 30, 2014 3:32 am

Good Morning!

typing to you from our deck this morning, listening to the birds sing (and the sheltie bark at them).

we're running into a string of dry weather in the low to mid 70's all week long! I'll be doing some wash and putting it on the line - maybe not today, but one day soon. and we'll be doing lots of grilling.

Tonite - burgers! and I might make a potato salad. We haven't had that for a long time. And I love it!

IRISH, glad your Chris is improving. So what's the plan for preventing this from happening again? and if Jim doesn't like lasaagna noodles, just sub in some other kind of pasta. Or even cooked and sliced potatoes would work. Maybe I'll try that next time . .

Bon Appetit`!

Good morning from sunny, getting warmer, Sw. Pa...We too are in for a string of warmer, sunny days, thank goodness...But, I'm typing from my desk in the dining room, looking at the birds and funny ground hogs, racing through the lot...I did notice, yesterday they meandered up near the garden and that's not too funny....

Mary, I'm not sure what plan they have for Chris. Even after he came home, Kathy would hook up his med IV through the port and she's hoping they keep him until those are finished...She is a very rare gem, taking care of him the way she does....They are hoping, the fluid buildup will decrease with the end of the IVs and with medication....He's worried because he's so behind in his rehab, hasn't really been able to stand or walk for quite a while...But, that too will come.....

As for our dinner, in cleaning out our pantry, I found a box of something that looks like "mac n cheese" helper but an off brand...I might just have to give that a try, sorry Mary.....Jim went shopping early this morning and came home with cinnamon rolls, so that and ice cream will be afters....(Jim should never be allowed to roam the aisles of a grocery store).....

Happy eating..................

Good Morning to everyone.Sunny & hot here.

Our little adorables left this morn.Sure is lonesome. They filled the house with joy.DGS & DGDIL make them mind & they are so well behaved they are a pleasure to be around.
MARYz They are the ones moving to WA.Leaving NY June 15.We really hate they are so far away but that happens as they grow up & have their own families.

We are having grilled chicken breast, green beans, fruit salad,& cookies.

IRISH I am sure Chris will catch up.It all takes time but see he wants to keep up.Pray he heals & can gain strength.

Have a great & sunshiney day.....Becca

Good morning,

After the grands leave this afternoon, it will be dinner out. Probably, Togo's - hot pastrami with provolone cheese for me and a caesar chicken salad wrap for Michael.

The grands have been just that - little angels! But just running herd on a 17 month old wears me out. I know why God gives the babies to young mothers! LOL

Enjoy,
Jana

Weather here is just scrumptious!
