SUPPER CLUB - Tues, May 20th
Happy Today!
JOANNE - always so happy to see you! How was Pringle night last night? Hope you have enough leftovers for tonite, too!
JANA - if you think you can bend my unbendable rules by using the term PNw - well, you're probably right.
IRISH - I'll take that title, "Leftover Queen" happily! It sure beats the title bestowed on me at one of my old jobs - evening charge nurse in a nursing home. It was my job to hand out the suppositories at bedtime.
LADY CAROL - You're a do-it-yourself kind of lady, aren't you - see what it's like to be rich! haha!! Wouldn't we all love to find out for ourselves! yes, those chevrons can be tricky. I did some frogging myself. Do you have the rulers for this quilt or are you just 'winging it'? I didn't get the rulers. I made do with what I had, but had to do a lot of trimming.
Well, I'm getting tired of the same old same old, but I'm mot getting tired of not cooking. Luckily I have a hubby who happily eats up those leftovers! We'll have that baked Italian casserole thing one more night and then chuck any leftovers after that. The funny part is, we're going out with two other couples either tomorrow or Thursday if the stars align, and if we do, it's to an Italian restaurant!
Hope your meals aren't as boring as ours are this week!

Good afternoon from semi sunny, not real warm, SW. Pa...Let's just say, for me it's a sweat shirt day, Jim, short sleeves....
Mary, so glad you like your new title...I was wondering, did you just have to pass out or help use in your nightly rounds?
I think our dinner might also be left overs. Hot meat loaf sandwiches with gravy and the last of the scalloped potatoes...Still not baking but I noticed some goodies jumped into the buggy while we were shopping this morning so you know who will have his sweets....
Gotta run, neighbor, Ted, is here to look at my dryer.....
Happy eating.............

Boy, I almost missed the boat today...we changed the dinner menu several times today until we hit on the right things!
Earl decided he wanted pork chops on the grill tonight...and I found 5 red potatoes in the crisper, which, along with an onion and some butter, salt and pepper went into some foil to join the pork chops. It was wonderful!! Earl added some BBQ sauce to the chops and I opened a can of succotash.
It was a beautiful day..tomorrow we are expecting some rain...which we need to help my lettice, dill, herbs and two tomato plants to grow!
Maryz, I wish I enjoyed leftovers...lol!
Irish, hold on, the warm weather is coming your way!
Finals for Dancing with the Stars tonight...I'm cheering for Merle...
