While $800 for food sounds outrageous, and you are feeling bad about what you did, at least you have plenty of meat. Everyone is allowed one "stupid" mistake a day, week, month, year, or lifetime. I have mine every hour!!!
Miriam is right about the cost of meat. And, it is only going to get worse.
Enjoy the meat and stop beating yourself up over it.

Yes of course being wise in setting priorities around here would classify as stupid. I've heard this crazy dilemma from another person on gov't subsidy, when she spent her 3/4 income on meat delivery. It got me thinking. In this winter weather anything that comes to your door, and allows more time for quilting is ridiculous.

I would not call you stupid but I doubt I would buy them for our house because I prefer my steaks not frozen guess it's just a idea I got in my head that I think they are better fresh cut but you may not live close to a grocery store to be able to get them fresh enjoy your deal
