SUPPER CLUB - Wed, May 7

Post by purrfect-lady » Wed May 07, 2014 2:50 am

CAROL - glad you're back! Love your 'lease' story about your May festival. I guess a millenium, give or take a couple hundred years is close enough! lol! It this what historical novels call a "fete"?

IRISH - well, I'm not sure my spaghetti is all that good either, but it's what DH has requested for tonite so I'll make it so. I have just enough 'greenery' for one more salad.

Today we have dental cleanings. I don't mind them, but they aren't something I look forward to. I always worry they'll find something that needs fixing. They usually don't, but that never stops me from worrying!

Good morning,

I will be indoor grilling lamb chops, with a salad and some fresh made bread.

I am off to babysit the grands in a few minutes.

Enjoy,
Jana

Good morning from damp, but getting brighter, SW. Pa...Hopefully our rain is over and Mr. Sun will make an appearance....

Mary, good luck at your "cleaning"..I'm like you, always afraid they might find something...My dentist is known for being painless but I still shudder when I have to go.

Yesterday's menu changed to chicken keiv and baked potatoes so maybe tonight will be spaghetti..Either that or using up those coupons for KFC...One thing for sure, we won't starve....

Happy eating.........

Good Evening All.....its rather blustery out there today.....with spits and spots of rain.....not a good day for wandering around outside......no....its better I stay in and sew......what a good idea.....
Actually... I did go to town this morning to post off my third quilt.....does anyone else feel sad when one of their quilts leaves home...bit like kids really.......
Just realised.....been home 2 days and haven't phoned my Cindy.....have to do that pretty quick or I"ll get my knuckles rapped.....when did parents and kids change places.......
So todays menu.....easy one today.....Ham and Chicken Pasta and Salad with Royal Jersey Potatoes.....and Jammy Doughnut(or2) for afters with our coffee.......

Sorry Maryz....forgot about the "Fete"......a Fete is like a fund raiser for Schools....its usually held a few days before schools break up for the summer holidays.....some villages and churches hold them too to raise funds for the community.....still delving into the "Charter" history......

Good Afternoon.Late here as Beth & Sawyer have been here most of day.
She is getting close to due date 6 wks & I feel for her in this heat 93 today.Unreal for early May.

MARYz I hate going to Dentist & Optamologist. And I have an 8:30 apt at eye in the Morning .Not looking forward to that.

CAROL I am just the opposite.I love it when my qyilts are given.Do not like having them after I finish.

Today we had left over beef stew & salad & blueberries...Becca
