SUPPER CLBU - Sun, May 4th

Post by purrfect-lady » Sun May 04, 2014 4:11 am

IRISH, I think you sent your rain west! It poured yesterday evening just as we were going out, and then rained hard all night long. Supposed to be a very wet day here. Purrfect for sewing so I won't complain! Glad to hear your Chris is making such strides! What a scary week for your whole family. Good thing you have your Mr. Schwann to handle the menu!

Here, all I have is Mrs. Z. And Mr. Z has requested homemade chicken soup. So that's what he'll get. Maybe even homemade noodles. I just make them by hand - no fancy machines here. But someone does need to go to the store for carrots and eggs 'cause I just can't imagine chicken soup without a few carrots in it and I can't make noodles without eggs. I might even make some biscuits.

What's sounding tasty to you and yours for tonite?

Good afternoon from partly sunny, partly overcast but it's warming up...Actually from what the weathermen are saying, we just might have a decent week. (one without sweatshirts)

Sorry about the rain Mary but if the weather stayed nice, you'd be outside and not be able to get to the quilting...

Becca, your menu sounds yummy...And the goodies from the shower must have been special..I put on a couple of pounds just reading about it...

Here it is almost the middle of the afternoon and I'm just thinking of lunch...We had a big (our usual) breakfast and then it's kind of pick what you want...
If Jim does decide to "pick", I still have some chicken kiev in the freezer, compliments of Mr. Schwan and I can always add a baked potato...

Happy eating.......
