SUPPER CLUB - Sat, April 26th

Post by purrfect-lady » Sat Apr 26, 2014 5:51 am

It's a cold, sunny morning here, but forecast is for rain moving in about 1pm. Would sure love to share some of that wet!

IRISH - praying for your son. How are you holding up? Hope you're not having to cook! Wish I could mail you a casserole.

LORI - sounds like you really DO love ham! Lots of great ideas for leftovers!

JANA - do you make your polenta from scratch or buy it in a tube? Knowing you (and I'm happy to say I do!!) you're a 'scratcher'. Do you have a favorite way of serving it?

LADY CAROL - yes, that quilt is amazing! I'm tempted. And I'm holding YOU responsible!!

LYN - This quilt is a Bonnie Hunter Mystery Quilt and is called Celtic Solstice. There are two of them on pg 5 in the photo section. One is Izzy's and one is Joan's. Sue is doing one, too, but there's no photos of hers yet. She's still hunting up the last few fabrics. Maybe we'll end up renaming ourselves SUPPER & CELTIC SOLTICE CLUB! LOL!

BECCA - Lady Carol says she keeps her pieces organized with binding clips. Others use sandwich bags. When I have a pile of pieces I keep them stacked on cookie sheets and stack the sheets criss-cross fashion. What an undertaking this quilt is, though.

Anyway - back to supper. True to yesterday's word, tonite is going to be ham and eggs and potato pancakes using the leftover mashed potatoes from last night.

What's your plan?
