Happy Sunday, y'all!!
We have beautiful weather here today and I'll be dividing my time between a rather impressive pile of dirty laundry and sheets, and working in the yard. And DH is rebuilding our RV shelter that collapsed under the weight of rainwater while we were gone south. He needs a lovely assistant from time to time, too. He can't find one so I step in and help. Will be a busy day!
Bill finally noticed about 7pm last night that I'd forgotten about supper. We ended up opening a can of tomato soup and making toast. This morning he got his request in early - spaghetti. Homemade sauce simmered for hours would be nice, but probably it will be opening a can of storebought sauce and boiling the noodles.
Speaking of spaghetti, I saw, I think on FB, where someone pushed hard spaghetti noodles through hot dog chunks, then boiled them, and the noodles stayed in the hotdogs for a fun presentation - especially for kids! we won't be having that tonite, but if you have DGK's, they might think that was great!

Good Afternoon All.Gorgeous day here.Have reall enjoyed this weather. so much yard work but I enjoy it.
MARYZ Your Dinner sounds like mine sometimes.I used to love to cook but not any more.Guess it is more fun when there is a crowd,it motivates you.
We plan to go for a drive thur country this afternoon & wind up at the ice cream shop.So we had burgers ,cantelope,baked beans...Becca

Mary, you're not the only one that sometimes forgets meals...We made a trip to HomeDepot, very depressing trip, had lunch at Wendy's and that was it....I was busy in the afternoon and decided to mix up a batch of cinnamon rolls...AND would you believe, I even forgot I had them raising, sitting in the oven...I did get them baked, tasted pretty darn good at 10:30 last night....The reason for the depressing trip, when they measured for the doors they said they were 1/2 inch shorter than standard and we'd need custom made...Of course that makes the price 3 times higher and I said, not in this lifetime....So, now I'm back to square one......
As far as dinner tonight, we might eat, we might not...But, if we do, it might be burgers on the grill....Or I just might have another cinnamon roll.............When I'm depressed I eat!
