SUPPER CLUB - Thursday, April 10th

Carol, so nice to have you back at the table! Along with your weekly 'sayings'! and you certainly do get a gold star! I'm so thankful that my DH does all the dealing with anything remotely electronic. All that's in his wheelhouse. And I cook. Sometimes.

Which brings me to the menu of the day. As promised, there are chickeny leftovers. Also, some of the noodles. I'll assess them later and decide if it all will be going into the soup pot or a casserole dish or just be a reheat. When it comes to food, Bill's not picky and sometimes whatever is easiest is tastiest - in his opinion. I can live with that!

Hope you can live with whatever ends up on YOUR plate tonite!

Good late afternoon from a very sunny, but slightly cool, 65, SW. Pa.....But, I'm not complaining about the weather, it's great.....

Mary, isn't it great to have a DH that doesn't complain about the food that's put in front of him? Jim is so easy going when it comes to food I do sometimes feel guilty, sometimes.....

Carol, so happy to see you back...We sure did miss you and your sayings....When it comes to anything electronic, I call in the grand kids...And then love the look they give me...You know, the one, that almost means, how can you not know how to do that????

Yesterday, I was with my sister all day and we had Chinese for lunch and when I got home, Jim said, I already ate....Yippee

And today, I just got back from another big luncheon...We go to this every month and there is always a theme...This one was Easter and they certainly did go all out....Next month will be a tea....So guess who isn't going to be hungry? But, remember the tortellini I was making the other night, that didn't get made, well, hopefully, it will make it to the table tonight....I even stopped and got some fresh strawberries for afters.........

IRISH & MARYz If I had a pickey DH it would rough.You appreciate anything on table because I do not cook like I used to.DH laughed when I told him I wrote on Supper Club.

Good Evening All......weather is improving daily.....nice bit of sunshine today.....and no April showers in sight.......

do you remember me saying about one of our Radio Wales Presenters.....his name is Chris Needs.....and has an evening show 10 til 1 am....I have a tiny portable wireless with my earbuds and listen every night...well last night he got a call from California...the caller said he listened every day on his computer....asked what the time was in California he said about 4 pm looked at my watch it was almost midnight.....he is going to visit Chris later this year when he and his wife are over on a trip....how is that for making friends over the airwaves......

Today has been an almost full day of baking....see....I just knew that cooker wouldn''''t take kindly to being ignored yesterday......
4 family sized Beef and Onion Pies and 6 large Bakewell Tarts.....tomorrow it will be Shepherds Pies.....and Saturday it will be Chicken Kormas.....but my trusty slow cookers will be in charge of them.....
Todays menu.....another Ham Salad and Carrot Cake for afters......
