Good Morning fellow cookers and eaters!

LYN, you might have to share that recipe for Ugly Salad! sounds like a well-kept secret.

I was going to say we are having hash tonite with our leftover roast and potatoes. And we still might. But then IRISH mentioned pirogies which made me think of pasties, which I haven't made for a few years. And right now that is sounding good to me. I also have a lot of romaine and tomatoes so I think salad is in order, too.

Now I can't wait for supper! what about you?

Mary, Mama's Grill is not really Italian...they have everything under the sun! lol! Prime Rib to burgers...breakfast..and chili spaghetti and cheese coneys. Spiro, the owner was born in Greece and came here when he was 17..his son, Chris, runs the Grandma's Pizza on Main Street..and also helps his Dad. I think the menu is TOO big! I have a hard time choosing what to eat.

Last night was pork chops, candied sweet potatoes, peas...tonight will be a salad with something...maybe leftovers! Unless Earl says we eat out.

I know that probably Mary and Becca are having rain today...we will have it all day into the night...and not too warm either...about 38 deg. But the rest of the week will be 60's!!!!!

Good late morning from rainy, but semi warm, SW. Pa.....If we keep hoping and praying, we're gonna get that nice weather, I just know we will!

Mary, those pirogies do sound good don't they? Well, guess what, we didn't have them....I saw a head of cabbage in the frig and decided to make hulushki (sp)...Of course it's not one of Jim's favorites so that just means more for me...But one of these days, it's going to be pirogies...And as far as our dinner tonight, I'm thinking maybe Pizza Hut pizza....Haven't had one in months......

Joanne, it is tough to decide when there are so many good choices...We just got a new Greek place and of course I had to try the gyros, oh so good.....That's the only time I'll eat lamb and then I just try not to think about it......

Good Afternoon.Yes JOANNE We have rain & did yesterday.Lots tonite in hi mtns are getting snow.Close to us.Next week is supposed to be 70.

IRISH You have me guessing on your egg hatching.Is it in your home or a nest you are watching? And also what is pirogues? New to me.

The ugly salad must be new also.LYN tell us more.

DH wanted ham,hulley beans & beets.For me chicken grilled & salad.Peaches for after.DH has chocolate pudding....Becca
