SUPPER CLUB - Fri, March 28th

Post by purrfect-lady » Fri Mar 28, 2014 2:03 am

Good rainy morning! It will be solid rain all day long, though not pouring. Too wet to be hauling stuff out of the trailer, though, don't you think? I should probably just hang out in my sewing room until the sun comes out again! lol!

LYN - you DO know that I always check the previous day's post to see if there are any 'fishy' indiscretions, don't you?? You'll find me at the dessert table with the men! Or at least at the potato table! I love potatoes!

JO - what's your favorite food at Mama's? Is it an Italian place (here we have "Mama Stortini's - very Italian.) or mama's home cooking type of place?

Tonite, our supper will be pesto pasta. I'll add some nuts, fresh tomatoes, black olives, and maybe some black beans. And a green salad. I love dinner the day after shopping day!

What's going on your plate tonite?

Maryz - Of course I know you look at the previous day's post. But, sorry, there just was no other way to say it. Can you see me posting that about 50 people got together for Mac'n Cheese. Ya'll would think we had done goofy down here in Texas. Lol Besides there were a couple of small dishes of just that food item. A lady had made a salad that she said looked ugly, so people don't eat it. It was very good, and I'm going to get the recipe.

Dinner tonight will be the going away potluck at the clubhouse. I think I will take a Tuna noodle casserole. We are going out in the boat today, to do 'you know what', so I wanted something quick to fix.

Good day to all,
Lyn

Good afternoon from semi sunny and semi warm, SW. Pa....I think it's about 52, which is warm for us......

Mary, usually when I go shopping, I have a hard time deciding what to make, lol....And I agree, if it's wet outside, you HAVE to stay in your sewing room.....

This being Friday, we might go with some real Mac n cheese or maybe mac n cheese filets and pirogues...You just never know what might end up on the stove, especially in this house....What would really, really be nice, if Jim would say, let's go to one of the mac n cheese fries...Might have to work on that......

Happy eating..............

Good morning!

Well I forgot that I was going out to dinner over at the Church - a Relief Society meeting - BBQ'd chicken - yummy! So the soup that I was going to make last night is now tonight's fare. My old stand by, Tortilla Soup. It is one of DH's favorite.

Enjoy!
