SUPPER CLUB - HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY!!

Post by purrfect-lady » Mon Mar 17, 2014 4:26 am

Ahhhh, 'tis a grrrand day, today! and yes, I am Irish!!

VELDA - what kind of dancing do you and your DH like? We're into western, some line dances (the few that we can remember!), and some swing.

IRISH - I WISH my DD were into quilting. It's more like she's into having quilts made by me. But I guess that's second best. lol! But my DIL LOVES quilting!

Today's supper is all green!! Green spinach noodles with alfredo sauce colored green, asparagus, green salad with green goddess dressing, green jello salad, green biscuits, and green cake w/ green icing. I would get mint chocolate chip ice cream, but I don't like mint. And I think i'll go get busy in the kitchen now getting that jello in the fridge!

what's lighting up your rainbow tonite at the supper table?

"Top of the Mornin" or Afternoon to you all.....

It might be cold and dreary but this is one of our favorite days of the year....We have a station on Comcast that gives you Seasonal music and today, of course it's all Irish music....The only thing better would be to have the girls here dancing......

Mary, your dinner sounds great! When Jim was still working, all his girls would have to inspect his lunch...Everything in it was green and not from mold, lol....In fact, Jim would be dressed in green, right down to his shorts and socks......

Tonight, we're having Shepard's Pie and home made bread....I was going to make soda bread but decided on more banana/nut bread......

Happy St' Paddy's Day...................

Good afternoon,

Well we are doing the traditional Americanized Irish dinner - corned beef, potatoes, green stuff salad, carrots, green beans and for afters -peanut butter cheesecakes -they are individual for all the family. My whole clan will be here tonight. I was going to dye the potatoes green, but some of the grands would have a problem with that. LOL.

In fact, I am already starting dinner.
Enjoy!

Happy St. Patrick's Day to All!
Tonight this Irish girl will be having Spaghetti and Meatballs, salad and French Bread. I have no reason, but have never made corned beef and cabbage.

Enjoy your green meals!
Carol
