SUPPER CLUB - Tues, Feb 11

Post by purrfect-lady » Tue Feb 11, 2014 6:00 am

I was thinking today was the 12th (President Lincoln's birthday!) but my computer insists it's it's the 11th. Experience has taught me to trust the computer, ornery as it can be sometimes, before I trust myself.

So glad we cam south for warmth this winter. but if we ever do it again, I'm packing more woolies!! We had to unhook our water hose to keep it from freezing last night. Now it's 11am and only 41* and won't get much warmer today. At least at home, while we may be 41*, we don't often have the wind chill factor!

Tonite we're having spaghetti for supper. I'll brown some onion and hamburger, add some canned sauce, and doctor it up. Salad and garlic biscuits should make my hubby happy.

What's making you happy tonite?

Good morning!

Yes it is only the eleventh - I am just waiting for Thursday! That will be a fun day around here.

Dinner - is out tonight - it is my Activity Day with the girls and that is hard to do and cook as well - so I have trained DH that it is a night out! He is a sweetie!

We are working on the basement - washing the cement walls - they still have fiberglass dust in the store room - then I have to put back all the storage - boxes and food - another organizing project!

Enjoy!

Good early afternoon from a very sunny but very cold, SW. Pa...

Mary, so sorry to hear you're having chilly weather, that's not supposed to happen on vacation...There have been a few times while in Florida, I've had to run to the thrift shop for a sweat shirt or borrow one from my friend....Hang in there, it will get warmer.....
Of course being closer to your DD should warm your heart.....

You are not going to believe this! Before I could go shopping, buddy, Ted, came and fixed my oven...Darn, darn, darn! Darn because I wanted a new one, darn because now I have to cook and start baking again.....
So, today I'm going to mix up a batch of cinnamon rolls (with lots of raisins) and for dinner something chicken.....I might stuff breasts and save the rest for chicken pot pie for later in the week....Jim will be pleased.... And has they say on Duck Dynasty, Happy, Happy, Happy!

Happy eating............

Good Afternoon.Snowing here & cold.MARYz & Irish I learned you always take a jacket or warm clothing. You can always take it off but it is hard to get warm.We were at a craft show once & I had to go buy a sweat shirt. That taught me to be prepared.

JANA You must be in a cleaning mode.Nice to have everything clean & organized.

It will be burger day.Veggie for me.And carrots & broccoli for me & fries for CA..Enjoy your day....Becca

Well I'm up for the second time today. LOL Friends asked me if I would take them to the airport in Corpus Christi, sure no problem. I have to back up a minute here. I was to take them at 8:30 a.m. yesterday, but they called at 8:15 and said their flight was changed to 5:30 p.m. No problem, I can do that. Then mid day they got another email saying their flight had been changed to 7 a.m. this morning. No Problem. :/ To get them there I had to get up at 4 a.m.!!!, so I would be ready and have car warm by 5:15. Got them there, came back and went back to bed for a few hours. DH was staying home and sleeping, NOT. Soon as I closed the motorhome door, Poco dog woke up and cried. DH will be taking a long nap this afternoon.

Dinner will probably be Schwan's chicken cordon blue and a veggie.

Today is beading day. They had the ceiling tore out in club house, but it's all fixed, so it will be nice to sit and visit and bead.
