Re: Books
Always good to have found authors that you enjoy....I'm amazed when talking to people and hear they don't enjoy reading....I can't imagine going through life with my books..Same as quilting or really any hobby, these people are missing so much.....
Scrap, get out one of those wine coolers from the tropics, snuggle in a quilt with your fur-baby and enjoy those books.....

Thanks wine cooler, can taste it now, great I'll have to wait till tomorrow store is closing... One more thing to look forward to, once I've set up my machine upstairs, front TV, IL DIVO for ears, and wine cooler, OK you see it? I'm dancing in my baggy fat pants (PJ), slurping a wine whizzing strips of fabric, rotary blade in hand window facing busy street/sidewalk 2ft from my house.
Someone will have me picked up and check for coucou.. Maybe I'll be front page.

The Lady in the Attic by Tara Randal, has anyone read of her books? Your opinion! Received from a quilting wholesaler advertisement as a new book series on the market.
Don't think the public library here would carry it yet! According to the summary mystery one I would enjoy..

Re: Books
When we read we enter into a world that is not our own. And for a few hours, we relax and let the words flow thru our mind, bringing pictures of the author's world thru their eyes. The best authors are the ones who take examples from their own lives and write about how they see them.
And for a time, our own world waits elsewhere, while we enjoy a glimpse into the lives of others. Much like a movie. If it is good, it seems to end too soon and we suddenly find ourselves back in bright sunlight or under street lights, or our own comfy reading corner.
Enjoy your escape from the cold world of winter. God bless you as you read or quilt or whatever. And hug that kittie once more. Hugs to you too, Shirley Mae
