SUPPER CLUB - Friday 24th

Post by WeeOne » Fri Jan 24, 2014 4:27 am

Guess I will start this today since I'm on here, early for me.

It's cold on the Texas coast, 36 degrees and windy.

I'm going to put a stew in the crockpot, will have crescent rolls with it for supper. Going to work on birdhouses today.

Good morning from a very frigid, 6 degrees and snowy, SW. Pa....
Lyn, if we were at 36, we'd think it was spring.......

Not sure what's happening today other than trying to stay warm...I do have my bags packed but still not sure if I'm leaving...With this head cold, I'm just not in the mood although I'd like to be in the warm weather....Oh well, we'll see......

And as far as dinner, I just finished my bagel (breakfast) and can't even begin to think of what to make....If nothing comes to mind, it will be soup and sandwich or maybe breakfast all over...........

Hope your day is a good one
Happy eating............

It is freezing cold here. -1 with a -20 wind chill. DD made a pork roast yesterday with carrots and potatoes so today is veggie soup!!
DH is in the hospital again and has been transferred closer to home. Instead of driving 20 miles one way, I only go about 2 miles. DD and DGS have the "bug" that is going around so I am needed at both places.

Too cold to go out unless needed which will be later today.

I forgot to add that I did see robins yesterday! They are really dumb to be here when it is this cold. But, they don''''t really ever really leave. They just hide better.
