SUPPER CLUB - Wed, Jan 15h
January is at the halfway point. How did THAT happen??
IRISH - Yes, I try to find a good side to everthing I can. Life is what happens while you are making your life plans. I don't want to miss any of it! Hugs to you and Jim and you work out his memory problems. It's a tough row to hoe.
As predicted, we have leftover chicken and rice, so we'll heat that for supper. As for veggies, I have celery, 1 carrot, and a tomato. I guess I could make a salad of sorts with that . . .or open a can of green beans.
Today we're on the move! Sparky is healed! It's a miracle!! We're off to Quartzsite, AZ finally.
Later, Ladies!

Good afternoon from slightly sunny, but cold, SW. Pa....The sun is a very welcome sight, now if we could just get the warm temps to go with it.........
Mary, so happy to hear "you're on the road again".....And you're right about looking for the best or good in everything....Thank you so much for your wishes for Jim...The doc did tell him to exercise his brain by doing cross word puzzles etc. but, he also knows to keep his hands off MY daily newspaper puzzles...He thinks his wrist hurts now, touch my puzzle and he'll see what hurt is! But, we'll muddle through............
And for our dinner, we're having the famous, thrown together, fried potatoes/eggs/peppers/onions scramble....Might even have some applesauce...Last night I mixes up some jello and yogurt for afters and we still have enough for tonight....Easy peasy..............
Happy eating...............
I did post the Chicken a la King recipe.....

Hello Ladies.Cold day here with snow close but so far we have none.
MARYz Hope you are breezing on down the road.Glad the bill was a tad less.
IRISH C.A. seems to finally be mending. At least he is up more.I am sorry to hear about JIm.The Dr just put C.A. on arocept(sp) this time.Hope it helps.Getting old is sure not for sissies. And being a care giver is not easy. But we try to make the best of each day God gives us.
We had to have his blood checked & mail Levi's package. So He got Subway, that lets me off the hook of cooking. Was glad to get the pckage off.Hope he enjoys the cookies....Becca

Today Earl went to his brothers house to stay with his handicapped adult nephew while his brother was at the hospital waiting through his wife's surgery. So my lunch was Subway! Now I haven't had Subway for about 20 yrs...hard to believe, huh?! It was good!! Earl doesnt' like them though.
Tonight was just leftover from last night..Earl didn't get home until just a few minutes ago. Almost time to watch American Pickers!
Take care everyone!! Love you all!
Joanne
